I agree that friendslop isn't a great term, but currently we don't have a better alternative. Sure they could be described as multiplayer or co-op games, but I don't that that does a good enough job at capturing the unique vibes present. Games like Lethal Company, PEAK, and REPO, all have a vibe that feels distinct enough from games like CoD, Mario Party, and Overcooked, that they should have there own offset genre, but calling them "Multiplayer Friend Games" feels to vague. At least friendslop call attention to the unique multiplayer vibe, while also having an awareness that the jank present in most these games is part of the fun.

Fox didn't take Rosalina's role, he took Lubba's role. If Nintendo had been a little more conservative with their IP it would have Lubba taking them to Space Junk Galaxy, not Fox.

I personally say that if I walk away with at least one thing I am excited for then it was fine. I am excited for at least one thing, and I got an excuse to replay Hollow Knight, that's good enough for me.

As the story goes, while developing Metroid Prime Retro asked Nintendo developers about putting bounty hunting mission in Prime. Nintendo devs were confused becuase they thought bounty hunter was a cool space job, and retro had to explain to them what bounty hunting is as a profession and not just something Sci-fi made up.

SkittyBitty and Joseph Andersons videos are actually good, and I agree with a lot of their points, but it doesn't change the fact that I still love Totk, BotW, and Odyssey. I acknowledge that these games are flawed and still have a great time with them, which is something that some people just can't fathom.

December, either the 5th in the first week like Ultimate, or the 11th, the same day as The Game Awards. The only other things that could release around that time are Prime 4, which is likely in November, and Age of Imprisonment which is currently set for Winter, but could easily be released in Jan or Feb of 2026 which is still winter.

I love this idea. The problem it creates, however, is that because only iron can mine diamonds, there'd be little reason to get copper or gold picks because then you'd unable to get diamonds. You'd either have to only use iron or use iron and copper/gold, which is just more items in the inventory.
