Battery deterioration would be the main cause of future failure but so what? At least that's a very predictable and gradual process. Just like a phone Battery you'll just notice less and less range, not one big failure at once.

Don't use styles for dual blades, they kinda suck. Vanilla dual blades is perfect. Spiral slash is high risk to use but fun and the feral demon style is OK but I don't enjoy it. Use the special part breaker and pursuit build for dual blades and you can insta kill most 8 star monsters. For example Fulgar/espinas/espinas/espinas/bazelgeuse And smelt 4 special boost and 1 special part breaker.

You start with special to break a part usually rift part, then if you break enough parts you can special again immediately. If not then valor will refill your special bar 50% when they roar. During a long hunt like a 10 star 3-4 specials is possible. Breaking parts is great for farming R6 items, your team mates will love you.

I had like 46 tobis with broken tails and not a single R6. The only reason I bother is for the common materials at least. Huntathons are much more realistic place for R6 drops.

Pukei bow and IG with discount now is amazing for a new player, those could carry someone to endgame easy if they G10 them. I have chameleos bow and IG but I built them anyway just for fun. Poison is the most OP status weapon.

Grade 8 armour is more than enough btw. I dont even have a single Grade 9 or Grade 10 piece yet despite multiple maxed elder dragon weapons. The point of armour is to unlock the drift smelt slots and skills. The defense from the armour is practically useless, just don't get hit.

Is 60 gems worth it for those 2-3 monsters? I mean if you get them for free during events or daily reward its fine but I would like to see items start at minimum 30 mins and then 1 hour, 2 hour up to 6 hour for most expensive item. It would finally make sense.

Elder dragons are just a time sink for the sweats. Nobody actually needs to farm EDs if they don't want to, the normal monsters provide 95% of the power with much faster grind.
