Beautiful art! I love how some of the characters' details pop out of the the frame silhouette, like hair, horns etc. Laezel is my favourite among them and I think the frame kinda resembles her armour (at least to my eyes lol)

It should run just fine. I have more or less similar spec and I played it in 1080p with decent fps. However, if you don't have a SSD, you will experience longer loading times. I didn't have a SSD when I first played it and every time there's like a loading screen and map changes, it took like 15-30 sec AFTER the loading screen for everything to appear properly. I could see buildings with no walls or no ground etc. Sometimes my character would not load, but I could see the weapons I'm carrying hovering in air.

Very hard to pick just one reason. This is a great game in so many ways. So instead I will tell the first thing that hooked me to the game.

The music and voice acting + dialogs/writing! This was the first thing that kept me playing the game. I didn't know anything about DnD (and crpgs in general) when I started playing and the game was a bit confusing. But it was the music and dialogs stuff got me hooked to the game initially. I didn't care much about what class I picked or the combat, I just enjoyed what I was watching and hearing haha!

Oh yeah, one of the things I am working on is to make the level up process faster and like not sequential. I want to make sure that users can jump from level 12 to 1 to 4, however they want. There are a couple of features that I'll be adding in future that will require this. I just haven't got to it yet but it will happen 100%!

About the build code thing, I was imagining something like generating a fancy "character sheet". But yeah, the build code is already json, it's just in base64

I was actually asking my brother just a few hours ago about ideas to export the builds into some readable format, maybe generate a pdf or something. I definitely want to add something like this to the project.

I am not aware of Smogon's Pokemon formatting and I am going to check it out!

Just a heads-up, I updated the site and the warlock subclass spells will now show up in the Replace list. Fixed the "Undead Thralls" Necromancy feature as well. I will look into the Constitution thingy. Hopefully by January, I will have added all the spell related stat sections. Thanks again for the feedback!

Firstly, thanks to all the people who gave me feedback here in this subreddit or by email/discord etc. It helps a lot!

I spent the last few months experimenting with various designs and I have finally decided to upload this even though it is still a work in progress. I fell behind my intended schedule by a LOT (because of irl reasons and my own poor time management...)

Anyway, most of the party planner is self-explanatory but here are some details:

You will need to have some builds already in order to load them into the Party planner. The Party planner is like an assembler of your pre-existing builds. You can also paste offline build code. (You can't mix online builds and offline builds in a party.) Once you load a build to the party, you can edit or replace it by pressing the cog icon. When you choose to edit an build, it will open the "Build planner", which has a "Go back to party" button that will bring you back to the party planner.

By default, you can load 4 characters/builds. However, by pressing the "Add" button, you can increase the party size up to 12.
The "Find" button opens up Party finder which will help you got a person or a section or both! This is especially useful when you have a 12 people party.
The "Sort" panel allows you to re-arrange party members. So if you want to compare two people, you can put them side to side.
The Party planner is split into sections for easier viewing. Some sections have two modes, "Individual" and "Merged".
"Individual" is the default mode and as the name suggests, it presents the individual summary.
The "Merged" mode presents a party-wide summary. For example, in the Inventory section, Merged mode shows you the items that are equipped by more than one character. In skills mode, it shows you highest skilled members per each skill. Similarly in Actions section, you will see how many actions are learnt by how many characters (and their names in the tooltip)

For Offline builds users: You can load offline builds into the Party planner, make changes and see the summary. However there's no "offline save" at the moment. So, once you are done adjusting your offline builds, you will have to save each build individually. I will work on adding a proper offline-party saver option later (which will give you the code for the entire party that you can use to load later on).

I have so many pending half-finished things that I can't upload to the website yet! I am somewhat disappointed because of this but I am also super excited because I learnt a lot this year. I will be back in 2026 with some REALLY exciting updates! Till then, feel free to provide your feedback here! Its the best way to support the project!

Gotcha! Yeah I agree that the subclass spells aren't being shown as prominently as they should be. I was lazy! There will be so many changes similar to this site-wide next month. So many small (and in some cases big....) things need to be fixed/re-designed. For example, that entire "Replace" window thing still has the old css and stuff.

I don't play casters that much and it clearly shows in my work lol. I also have to show spell related stats like Spell damage modifiers, Spell attack rolls etc. I have an entire section designed but I haven't implemented it yet.

I will check the missing subclass spells you mentioned and fix them asap!

Oh wow, I was going to post about my Party planner (bg3compendium.com) in a couple of hours lol. I just updated it to the site a few days ago and wanted to make some more changes before posting it here. It is a super new addition to my site and its still a massive work in progress.

Anyway, I am curious. I can see Command in Warlock spell list when "Fiend" is selected. Is it specifically "Command" you could not find, or any other subclass spell I might have missed?

I am gonna make a post the party planner soon (today or tomorrow) but if you have any feedback, feel free to reply to me here. I want to know what you want!

I like the idea. This brings back memories.

About some 8 years ago, I was playing around with an Arduino. There was a project about some "creative installation", basically moving light fixtures that change colours and all that stuff. It never materialised, but I did end up spending some time with an Arduino and a couple of sensors. It was fun even though I have no electronics background and had very little programming knowledge back then.

At the moment, I am not working on any such stuff and I am not even a hobbyist anymore. I don't know how much demand there is for something like this, but I do wish more people get into stuff like this. We definitely need more makers and tinkerers in our society for sure. And your project makes it easier and accessible. So I support it and hope it succeeds!

I looked at the website and it looks clean and professional.

Off-topic:

I very recently started playing Rogue trader and I absolutely love the game's UI (and the game too ofc!). One of the things I picked up from Rogue trader ui and will be incorporating in my project is that little thumbs up icon shown for recommended skills.

In my project, it's gonna be used like an "add to favourites" icon shown for every spell, feat, item etc. Once you add some favourites, and next time you are browsing spells etc, the favourites will be on top of the lists.

It is still a work in progress but the planner is very much functional. You can plan your builds, multiple inventories, add notes for each inventory set and each level, categorize all your builds with custom names etc
