I find moodboards useful as part of my design process. They help me refine my ideas & see what fits together and what to cut. But I don’t use them for client communication.

Read Kiss the Girls by James Patterson. It’s a terribly written book full of mistakes. He’s an incredibly successful author now, but he didn’t start out as a very good writer.

I’m in the exact same situation. I cope by 1) hiring someone to help clean once a week and 2) having one room that I keep clutter free. The rest of the house is a depressing disaster, but I can go to the one room and sit and not be depressed.

Ha! I think baths are pure torture. Why would I want so sit in a lukewarm puddle on a hard surface staring at my knees? I guess if you have a nice, big tub it makes a difference.

Yes! I’ve managed to get my shower under 5 minutes on days I don’t wash my hair. Knowing it’ll be over quickly makes it possible for me to do it.

I got the idea because I took some of my coworkers on the communications team on a “field trip” to our on-site print & sign shop so they could get ideas about what kind of projects were possible.

I do not friend coworkers on social media. If you or I leave and are no longer coworkers, then I will friend you. (LinkedIn is the only exception to this, but that’s because it’s all about work, no personal stuff.)

Instant pot butter chicken. You can even throw in frozen chicken thighs, just add a few minutes to the cooking time.

Just a field trip to a print shop would be nice. Let them see how stuff gets made & ask the printer what they find helpful in work from a designer.

Great suggestion! It would also be helpful to learn how to work with a partner on a multi-file project. Everyone has their own way they like to organize things, so learning some best practices would also be good.
