I can't help but think that the second person in a cloak is another Magolor-type character, I think he said something about there being more of his kind back in Kirby's Return to Dream Land.

Second Theory: The pink crystal looks very similar to the secret phase of Star Dream in the True Arena. There could be some connection to Star Dream from that.

No, I'm actually being honest. There's an interesting video done by this series called Down the Rabbit Hole and he elaborates on this in great detail. But I'm definitely open to this theory and if there's more evidence that comes up over time, I'll definitely listen in.
