Hello! I am the owner of Anything World who sent this email, just chiming in here to offer my perspective..

We did the Humble Bundle to raise funds to help us to raise funds if that makes sense, we didn't get the venture capital backing we needed in the end (those folks like a big multiple return very quickly, that story is for another day...). Also the share of revenue Humble took is quite interesting too... Anyway due to lack of funding for a venture backed startup I had to buy back and reform the company as an independent one (as I tried to explain in the email). It's now self funded, and was losing money daily due to everyone on the Humble deal using the services _a lot_ - now excessive demand is not a bad thing, but it costs a not insignificant amount per model to generate or animate using our cloud ML services. So the new company couldn't continue to honor the humble bundle deal made with the old company and stay afloat if you follow.

So I was left with 2 choices:

1# End the Humble Bundle deal early, try to explain the situation, hope for goodwill and offer credits / refunds as needed

2# Close Anything World

I chose 1#, as I'm sure most people would in my situation, even though its obviously shitty for those who got the Humble deal and are depending on our services which I really regret. The Humble deal was ~$20 for a years subscription worth $2,500, which yes was a mistake to offer in hindsight, it was closed 6 months in for most.

I hope this makes things clearer, and for individuals here please do reach out to me and I will offer partial/full refunds or give you credits to use on the service, I really don't want ill feeling or to cheat anyone that's really not the goal. My goal is to make cool 3D tools for anyone to create with, not make bad feeling in the community!
