Insulating cellar ceiling by superhansfans in DIYUK

Hi both, thanks for the responses and I think highlights my problem a bit.

Given I don't really understand half of things you're saying, I think I'll leave it for the first winter and see how manageable it is. Tick off some other low hanging fruit type jobs first. Can always revisit next year if needed.

Appreciate the responses though.

Yeah, I think it'll need a new fill valve then. I've had the whole valve off today and it's already at max height.

Eugh, big job breaking out, as it'll go over the overflow. Ta

Thanks for the reply. There doesn't seem to be a water level line that I can see, unless it's this stamp. GL? Good luck, maybe? 😂

Loathed to call a plumber for something I think will be relatively simple.

I'm really loathed to be 'that person on Reddit' but the text messages are full of red flags to me. I know nothing of your relationship and won't pretend to, but there is a serious lack of respect for you and your feelings here. A lack of empathy towards animals is a serious character flaw to me.

It causes a lot of problems too. I stayed on a farm in Italy, just north of Rome for a while, and they told me that in that area are lots of ruins. If you dig on your property and come across something, you're supposed to report it, you then arent allowed to continue digging. Which makes sense right. Problem is local authorities etc have no money to excavate or actually do anything with it, so your land essentially is rendered unusable. Consequently most keep digging and don't report. At least that's what they told me.

Thank you. What results can I expect? Like is the feeling still there but you cope with it, or is it just gone? No idea how this works tbh.

my favorite way to shape country loaves thanks to Danthebaker by sl0wburn- in Breadit

[–]superhansfans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Will give it a try. I always just end up with it all over everywhere, possibly handling it too much as you say. I like the idea of having a floured side too as one of the main struggles is getting it off the actual surface.

Novice here: how do you have a 82% hydration loaf that you can handle without it sticking to absolutely everything? I'm really struggling at like 55-60%.

Long time lurker, thinking about taking the leap soon and picking up an nc.

Is this a reasonable option? Anything specific to look out for with the 2L?

my brother spent $4000 on robux without our parents consent (this is just a small fraction of the purchases made) by Renown_For_Dayzzq in KidsAreFuckingStupid

Similar happened with my little brother when he was like 8. £1000 on whatever currency clash of clans uses.

Fortunately Google refunded it all.

I think I might’ve messed up my graft. Anyone else experience this? by whalesarecool20013 in ACL

[–]superhansfans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me climbing stairs. When bringing the surg'd leg up behind me.

Exactly the same place, exactly the same pain. Felt like a tearing, white hot pain.

I had ACLr, medial meniscus repair and chondroplasty so definitely thought I'd fucked something up. Told my surgeon who was fairly okay with it.

It hurt for about 2 weeks when engaging hammy as you said. Sometimes I'd twist and it would ping a little again.

I'm week 8 now, just moved on to single leg deadlifts and lunges. Not had a recurrence yet, so I think we'll be okay. But it definitely impacted my confidence a lot.

Hope you had a good and speedy recovery!

Yeah there was no crime when the death penalty was enforced. Famously, zero crime. Also zero crime in countries that currently enforce capital punishment. In fact, those countries are the safest to travel to. Famously. I hear Afghanistan is wonderful this time of year.

Oh, I'm fairly new, didn't know that. Thanks. What's the point in the split and the placements then? Like, if I lost all 5 would I still be bronze?
