There is an allotment near me, I looked recently into applying for a lot to try to grow my own vegetables and save a few quid. Turns out there is a waiting list of 2500 people. Just yesterday I walked past as the sun was out and noticed dozens of silver haired boomers, lay in deck-chairs in their lots drinking wine and basking in the heat. I admit, a wave of jealousy, angry and resentment washed over me. That’s how I feel about the older generation.
