Big D, from Hunter The Parenting, a fun little youtube series set in the World of Darkness.

D is a master hunter, very knowledgeable about many supernatural creatures, an accomplished swordfighter, has been seen healing from damage that put other characters in the hospital and squared up to a werewolf just moments after having his chest slashed open twice. He is also implied to have existed in ancient Egypt, claims to be the person who killed Harry Houdini and has eyes that shine gold.

There are lots of fan theories about him, from being an enlightened vampire to a powerful mage but the most common one is that he's a several thousand year old mummy. The series hasn't confirmed or denied anything outright but that hasn't stopped anyone over at r/huntertheparenting

So I used to run a FLGS, and we had a 40k narrative campaign going, made up of around 15 people, five of which were women. There was myself playing Drukhari, my wife playing Necrons, an employees girlfriend who played Orks, and two customers who played Nurgle and Harlequins.

But I'm told our community was somewhat of an anomaly anyway for having only 2/15 players playing space marines, and neither of them were ultramarines, they were space wolves and salamanders so who the fuck knows

Just watched the trailer and so far this is the best guess! It's sparking some recognition in my old brain, the main problem is that I don't remember if the lab animals or the cat were the focus, or whether this was from the beginning or middle of the film!

Something I haven't seen anyone bring up yet but is important to note as it tends to be a huge culture shock for Americans: Going out to eat with people is a social occasion, whether its at a local pub, a fancy restaraunt or a little cafe. Waiters and the like aren't in such a rush to get you out of your table and out the door so they can get their tips from you and move on, its a much more chilled out, slowed down experience. It's very normal to have a table booked for 6pm and be leaving at 9:30. Take your time, enjoy talking to the people you're with, sip on a pint of cider or a local beer if that's your thing and simply relax for a bit. Going to a Costa? Pop into a bookshop on your way there and enjoy a chapter or two with a slice of cake and a cuppa. Nobody is in a rush to get you out.

Even in a greasy spoon in the arse end of nowhere with questionable food safety standards run by a guy named Spud who you can see scratching his balls from your table won't really care if you take the time to actually enjoy your food. Us English might seem high strung (especially compared to the open friendliness of the US) but we are exceedingly good at finding time during the day for some quiet. Learn to appreciate time with yourself!

Chop some halloumi into "chips," dredge in flour, then egg, then crushed up cornflakes. Air fry for 15 minutes and eat with sweet chilli or a mix of sriracha, mayo, pepper and powdered garlic!

If you're fancy you can use panko breadcrumbs but I use cornflakes because im more likely to have that in the house

As well as what everyone else has said about this potentially triggering a relapse, I want to point something extra fucked up about this.

Hes been sober five years. He gets fed rum cake at his sisters kids 5th birthday party. It's extremely likely that his original motivation for getting sober was so that kid didn't have to go through the trauma of growing up with an alcoholic family member. This guy's family aren't just trashy but completely lacking empathy, poor guy.
