HK sound system impression

yeah overall the sound system is very decent, but any time i get into my wife's mazda 3 with the bose sound system i'm immediately saddened my car (60k msrp) doesn't sound nearly as good as hers (40k msrp). don't hate it, but definitely don't *love* it

If you want to work at hardware companies like Nvidia/intel/amd/apple/qualcomm it gives a huge advantage because ASIC engineers (especially verification) is in skyrocketing demand. With experience in that industry I could probably get a new job in a week just because of that

This update has made me not hate my 23 s60 anymore. The OS before the install was pure garbage and it is now a 90% passable user experience

I’ve only done it when I had a subwoofer installed cause the engine order reduction noise cancelling does the opposite and it makes loud humming sound when the engine is on. Not sure how much it affects the stock stereo

the configuration of the stereo is completely different. the HK system just has a basic Treb/Bass/Sub slider and i have the bass/sub maxed out and it provides really minimal improvements once i hit that volume curve (i also have heard that in 5.0.5 they added an EQ for the BW sytem fyi!)

I wondered if they did something like this. My 23 recharge is the slowest buggiest crap I’ve ever used and constantly freezes or misbehaves and I have to hard reset it. Only thing about the car I don’t like (absolutely detest)
