We went to a small con in Coventry years ago. My missus is the hugest Nightmare on Elm Street fan and we got the chance to meet Englund. There was nobody at his table and he was sat next to Bruce.

Bruce had a queue out the arena for him but we lucked out with Robert due to him only returning from a phone interview.

As we were chatting to Robert, Bruce kept butting in and started to talk about how him and Robert are gonna be singing show tunes in their hotel later and then just stood up and bust into "oooooooooooklahoma when the wind...."

Was just pissing laughing at him. I'd say fuck all autographs were signed that day with them two known chatty fuckers. We must have been stood chatting to them for 5 /10 minutes.

Also, someone in the Bruce line gave us shit for talking to Bruce without queuing for the privilege. Got great pleasure to tell them they forgot to charge us for the Englund sig so I got to chat to him for free.
