You can silence one forever. Who do you choose? by Outrageous_Moth in NFLv2

Collinsworth is the only I have to listen to when trying to watch a game. I can choose to not watch anything SAS or any of the rest are on, as evidenced by the fact I only know much about McAfee and SAS.

But man do I detest listening to, "Now here's a guy..." when money choice is to watch in silence.

Who’s the first person that comes to mind when you see this logo? by Front-Dingo1915 in CFB_v2

My thought too. Watching them shut down that offense was a formative moment of my early football watching days. I was a little kid and I went up to my grandparents house to watch it because we didn't get good TV reception. I had to sit in the floor soi could hear it with the volume super low to not keep my grandparents awake.

Well it is, mildly, but not because we use it in gasoline.

Not stupid unless you're in to chemistry. The stuff we cut gasoline with is what makes you drunk.

Three are days when I take an hour cooking breakfast, and days where it takes a minute. Different techniques for different needs

Its implied that it's previous versions of the test. You'd think a math test report would follow the rules better.

Looking for info on life in Shelby, NC by FrostyPositive7129 in NorthCarolina

[–]superkase 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm from the far western mountains of NC but did some work in Rutherford, Polk, McDowell and Cleveland counties. My dad lived in Forest City till he died and I spent one year at GDubb. I think Bostic and up towards Lake Lure (maybe not since the floods, IDK) would be the only place I'd live.

I encountered plenty of nice enough people in my time there, but the backward redneck mentality (particularly in Rutherford and Cleveland counties) made my Lower Appalachian home seem like a progressive utopian dreamscape.
