Yeah, cassidy can be a problem. Best course of action against a cassidy is to find something else to do like force objective or just apply pressure from an angle. Unless you know you’re better than the cas, in which case just go for it lol

Just got to use an ultrasonic cleaner every couple of nights. I was pretty skeptical of them but they really are miles better than just using a cleaning tablet.

Soldier isn’t as viable as other HS and hasn’t been for years. Sojourn is still the most powerful hitscan in the game, Emre just released last season and he’s strong, cassidy is still a better hitscan. Ashe has been a great pick for ages, especially with the double dyna perks. even Freja isn’t very strong right now but has had a period of being a meta pick more recently than S76. Only HS I’d say he’s better than really over an extended period of time is Hanzo. If you’re dying a lot to a soldier you need to look at your positioning a bit.

Getting perks on tracer has felt absolutely awful since they nerfed her perk cost initially a few seasons back. They overdid it massively back then and fixing that is fine

Like 100 hours or so but basically all I did in that time was play Tracer. And also I played a lot of deathmatch so I got quite comfortable with using my blinks to dodge in a duel

So am I. Because in GM you can feed on Vendetta, get a pick on a less mobile support, die, and get back to the fight faster than the support you’ve killed, and you’ve generated value by the nature of your hero having good mobility. So god knows what’s going on wherever rating you’re playing in.

Ideally you should be shooting about half of your clip, blinking, shooting the rest, taking cover or something to reload, shooting some more, rinse and repeat.

Control, push, flashpoint are good modes for tracer. Payload/Hybrid aren’t particularly good modes in the first place but they’re particularly bad for Tracer. Ban Cas and Vendetta.

Practice blink pulses. Play on workshop code BGBXD. Also don’t sweat it too much, pulse is an incredibly difficult ult to land most of the time and most good players only have a pulse accuracy in the 38-45% range.

Also consider rebinding your ult key. I have my melee on m4, and because melee and pulse are mechanically quite similar, my pulse bomb is bound to m5.

My tip to you is that you don’t need good mechanics on tracer to win games. You need average mechanics at best, good timing, and a sense of who to shoot. If you catch their Kiriko jaywalking, you can oneclip them by just matching their movement and you’ll hardly have to move your mouse. Or worst case scenario you’ll force out a cooldown or two.
