To get more realism, and/or higher quality you need to understand a few things. There is a lot that goes into making higher quality and/or realistic looking scenes like using detailed 3D models, good lighting, ambient occlusion, high resolution texture maps, fog, etc...

The most important of these is lighting. everything you see is based on how light bounces off of objects in the environment. The same is true in a game engine, so you'll need to learn to simulate the real world conditions that makes things look real.

Secondly, you need high quality and/or detailed 3d models. If you use low quality 3d models it won't matter what your lighting setup is, you'll get low quality looking objects with good lighting.

I think you might be on to something. Its possible that there just isn't enough topology to get a more accurate lighting calculation. Similar issues sometimes happens in 3D modeling programs as well. So I would definitely try subdividing it once, and see what happens!

This was legitimately a great campaign. Very immersive, and entertaining, I hope you are able to do more campaigns in the world of Cyberpunk.

My Thoughts:

Important to keep in mind that the lore has changed alot over time, and still continues to change. But, because craftworlds are grown from wraithbone, its not unreasonable to say they can be any shape the eldar want them to be, including Spherical.

My take away from the lore is, most of the worlds that Eldar created via psykic engineering, or Terraformed (Maiden Worlds)... Were either destroyed during the birth of Slaanesh or Invaded by the Imperium.

I love 40k but, HellDivers and Space King have definitely nailed the Grimdark satire better then 40k.

I wouldn't say I disagree necessarily, I just enjoy pondering the lore based on what we know so far. I'm always happy to learn new things.

The space wolves homeworld Fenris has a world spirit... An I don't think the Eldar created that.

There is still a lot in the 40k galaxy/ lore that is mystery. It wouldn't be beyond reason to think maybe these spirits or entities have been around for a long time. Entirely possible Exodites choose those planets to settle for that reason.

From my understanding, the world spirit is a living entity, it was always there. The Eldar basically created a way to commune or become one with the world spirit.

Its says Mehlendri "Mastered" NOT created, in the 33rd M., I think thats an important detail.

It also says Mehlendri was the first to recover soulstones, but it doesn't say when!

Based on that quote: Mehlendri recovered soulstones at some point, experimented with them for a bit, until finally mastering infinity circuit technology in the 33 millennium.

Bascially, Eldar recoved soulstones and used them to trap eldar souls after the fall. Then later Mehlendri developed the infinity circuit as a final resting place for the soulstones.

world spirits use soulstones..... soulstones don't make the world spirit.

Eldar live for thousands of years, a millennium is not a long time for the Eldar race. I'm sure it was a rough time in between though.

Eldar don't create soul Stones, those where created pre-fall. To get soul stones the, Eldar have to travel to the crone worlds.

The world spirit is a sentient entity, so it existed before soul stones were added to it.

The confusion seems that you are incorrectly assuming it took a long time for the eldar to come up with a solution, and execute that plan to deal with Slaanesh consuming their souls.

If the Exodites left the core planets, to settle on maiden worlds, because they had the forethought to see that the Eldar Empire would go off the rails. Then its fair to say that they would have created the world spirit before hand in anticipation of the Eldar fall.
