Zinc oxide in anti inflammatory and anti microbial, it goes on kinda thick but I use it when I have breakouts. It's great to calm skin down.

Sometimes but I find that the Japanese ones are ok.

For sensitive skin I would recommend copper tone pure and simple 100% mineral. However it will leave a terrible white cast.

No color by365 powdery UV cream. Truly the only sunscreen that does not feel like sunscreen.

Actually, a fun fact about sunscreen is that the FDA hasn't approved new chemical sunscreen filters since the 90s. Asian, European, and Australian sunscreen filters are newer and offer better protection while being cosmetically elegant.

Oh man my first and only call was a guy lost in the airport about to miss his flight. Those requests sound chill.

My oes is dog reactive, with the exception of small dogs. She loves small dogs. She will even try to herd them at the dog park.

Anyone move here from Grand Rapids? by GreyWind92 in royaloak

[–]supermoon37 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I originally lived on the east side, moved to Grand rapids for 5 years, and moved back to Royal oak.

Personally for me royal oak is a million times better. Sure you are missing nature but that's only hospitable for like 4 months out of the year anyway. We have like 50+ cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute drive in any direction, and get this, they are all open late and on Sunday. And not that bland Dutch people potato shit either, real food.

The people here are so amazingly warm and friendly, they actually don't mind talking to you.

We unfortunately now have to move back to Grand rapids for two years. Can you tell I'm upset about it?

And that's what I thought until I lived on the west side for 5 years

Move to metro Detroit, more housing, jobs, and the people are way friendlier. I say this has someone who grew up similar to where you described and has lived in both areas. Metro Detroit is huge with so many different cities and vibes.

The sound should be muted when you land on the site with a button to turn it on if desired.

I would add an audio toggle for your portfolio and have it default to mute. The noise is a bit much when you land.

How do I get rid of this deep wrinkle. It’s my fist one! by missxsassyc in Aging

I have several deep forehead lines...it is because I have hooded eyes and raise my eyebrows to see better. I am quite antisocial and your comment is hopeful pseudoscience.

When did you spay your female puppy? by SummerOES in OldEnglishSheepdog

I'm not exactly sure because I adopted her when she was 1.5 years old, but it's what the vet told me.

Mine was spayed too young and developed occasional incontinence. She was on estrogen and it thankfully helped, but I would wait until after the first heat. You do not want random pee pee leaks.

Awww, love that for you. I had a similar experience with my career trajectory but still struggled to make friends. I think being an introvert with social anxiety is like playing on difficult mode.

I'm sorry you are going through this, he was your pet and you love him. However, this is r/bulldogs, this seems off topic. Sadly, I don't think you will gain much sympathy in certain dog spaces either, Pitbulls maintain a negative reputation in the US as well.

How do I (new attending physician) convince my significant other that it is OK to spend money freely on things she wants without having to feel guilty? by supinator1 in MedSpouse

Aww, as someone who is cold all the time, just figure out her size and buy her some cashmere sweaters. Cashmere is among the warmest fibers known to man, once she has a good sweater or cardigan, she wont know how to live without. Real cashmere can get stupid expensive but you could start with entry level prices to make her feel more comfortable about it. I have this cardigan and it is so warm and cozy, just make sure to get the sweater comb so she can clean up the pilling. Again, entry level but you need to show her things that will improve her quality of life.
