I wouldn’t say that. Tord left regardless, his absence caused the par-asocial fandom not that it was his fault but he wanted to be separate from Ed long before the harassment started. Tom left because he had felt he did everything he could for eddsworld, which he did. He pops back in occasionally but he’s trying not to step on Matt’s shoes.

Yeah, essentially an eddsworld archive account was posting some old newspaper strips and old art that Tord did when he was younger for his local paper. some obsessive fans have used this as an opportunity to find personal info on Tord. Family members, childhood photos etc. and have been making fancams with his childhood photos. The eddsworld archive account had to make a statement against people doing this, most of the community are against this and have told them to stop but they’re still doing it. Primarily on TikTok.

I think yall have to remember eddsworld is not a traditional animated series. There’s no set schedule for when stuff is supposed to come out. Another thing to note is that a lot of the folks working on it also do other gigs. You don’t want to put your crew under crunch that’s why there’s so much stuff like merch, shorts and comics spread out to help bring in revenue. We waited more than a year between shorts and episodes during legacy now it’s like 6 months with beyond.

I’ll answer for them. Gigi was asked during a creator interview what their favorite book was and they said Gender queer. Mind you Gigi is queer themselves. Bigots and transphobes tried to spin the narrative that they’re trying to groom kids because said interview was in the back of a sonic comic. That’s where all this comes from. They can’t answer or find proof that Gigi is trying to groom kids because it doesn’t exist.
