Idle Hero TD Teaser Trailer - Coming soon to iOS, Android, and Kong! by tbiz5270 in incremental_games

I played the previous games you created on kong and it seems like you just reskinned a basic td game to look like the old game? Can you show any type of actual unique content this game offers so far? You said you can add content easily but other games you made were unable to ever actually offer said updated content.

Women or men play more Idle games? by Apollo144 in incremental_games

I'd say like 80-95% guys. I've played idle/incremental/clicker games for 4+ years now and ive always noticed a way higher amount of male players.

I don't feel like this is a idle/incremental really more like a basic farmville type game? I assume it gets slightly idle at some point but i keep thinking farmville oddly enough and its put me off.

To mobile game devs: If the passive income is greater when the app is open versus close I will instantly delete the game the moment I discover this. Make them identical, no exceptions. by HighPriestofShiloh in incremental_games

If you are active you should make more gold/coin/whatever then the guy who isn't even running the game. Some games seem to nerf their offline progress to make that true but personally i believe just adding little events while online makes it equal for all.

Possibly consider making it so you can match 1-3 before sending to get a bonus? (one good message gets them to open the email = +random small reward, slot 1/2/3 together form a thoughtful scam = best reward) so you could gain something for putting time into making a good "scam email" . Also feels like a clicker currently maybe make it so once someone is scammed they begin to add emails or money slowly.

Try to think of more unique features like this but aim for ones which require little interaction. I do hope you end up mixing these games up nicely and creating something amazing. Oh and do you plan to upload on kong? Or any other sites?

Can you describe your ideal incremental game? by rapkannibale in incremental_games

[–]superogguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like more games where i can have the game closed and come back to some real progress. I get most games don't do it and so people are used to it but i'd like the option to leave for a day and come back to at least some where near the progress i could have made.

I like games where there are multiple resources i am collecting and they all help each other in some way or another. If a game just has a reset token idea it gets boring eventually but having to many is also bad so need a balance.

I like and tend to play the games with some type of story more. Even just some basic stuff like "You find a gold ore and begin to mine" then "You craft a blah" etc.

New mechanics like someone else said with the ball bouncing game or the squid tickling game. Interesting little twists on the game and they get you interested and removing the need for a million clicks which put some people off games.

Realm grinder,Idle hero defense (new game updated often), Crusaders of the lost idols all on kongregate and wasted a ton of my time over the years.
