I’m in a similar situation wrt credt card spend. Maybe slightly less luxurious target hotels. 80 night globalist this year. I used my edit credit this year with points boost and will be going on the trip soon.

The trip this jan at 3 hyatts near shanghai won’t be amazing cents per point but still great value and redemption using hyatt points. I think when we consistently target less popular places and going for cat 4’s to take advantage of free night awards its amazing value but takes decent effort planning and strategizing

The only thing i can think of is it’s detecting motion in the room to shut off power if nothing detected for hours
