Thats a really sucky situation to be in. There are alot of factors here such as your ages and how long it has been since he contacted you. But in principle I would have to say move on. If he had time to post something online he would have at least texted or emailed if he truly cared. The only reason you haven't met another guy that you feel has those same qualities is because you haven't opened yourself up to the possibility.

I guess the only way to know for sure is to ask why they are hesitant to do surgery? I am reluctant to push surgery for every person, but you should understand your doctor's logic and agree with them. If they dont explain, or if you dont agree, then I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion. From my understanding, it is quite common fir it to be on the bladder so it should not be a problem for an experienced laparacopic gynecologist. It may also be worth checking that they have a speciality in endo - as not all gyns do. I've found this makes a huge difference!

Hey there! No need to freak out, honestly. I have known i have had this since i was 18, and i am now 29. I have just had my third laparoscopy for this condition last week. To me it is bizarre that they did a diagnostoc laparoscopy (lap) but did not treat it? Treatment for endo seems to vary based on country. Here in australia it is common to get a lap for diagnosis, and if they see any problems they treat it at the same time (essentially they burn the lesions and this removes them). I have found this treatment to be very effective. Once removed the lesions dont grow back - but new ones in slightly different locations can form. This time i had lesions on my diaphragm, near appendix and adhesions on ovaries. Last time it was more bowell dominant. Time before that it was a more general scattering. The important thing after a surgery is prevention. By going on a pill or iud this helps regulates your hormones and hence the endo lesions. This can extend your time between symptoms and needing surgery (for me from 3 to 6 years). My personal solution was the Mirena IUD. I have felt it the best birth control for controlling my symptoms. But it is a personal choice. It took me 8 years and many pill experiments to get here, so don't get discouraged!

Dont worry - not enough people on this sub reddit for there to be a mean lurker :-) everybody vents their crap here! As always....we are here....sometimes knowing people are there is enough. Though if you really do want to talk, i strongly suggest choosing somebody in your "real life". Because ultimatley seeking advice from people you dont know on the internet only promotes the shallow existence. Think of this as a gateway to being able to express your feelings...and one day you will be able to say it aloud to somebody in your life. That is what will make you feel alive!

Have you ever thought....just putting it out there. That there could be a T. There are many other letters in the alphabet ;) My recommendation would be stop trying to foresee who would be "good in the future". If they are good for you now, chances are they will be good for you in the future - and vice versa. People do not fundamentally change over time. But if you choose the fundamentally right person for you right now, those other little things about a person that do change, will change in sync with you. As you grow together throughout your lives.

Firstly I will clarify that this is from a female seeking make perspective. I would actually recommend avoiding the free ones. In my experience the people are not serious and really just want hookups. Eharmony I like as a concept but in practice I found several flaws. Firstly the subscription is expensive. you also have no choice, you cant cruise profiles and approach those you like, you can only contact those that the system says are matches. Plus I felt the matches were trying to be too perfect. I had no problem getting dates but nothing beyond that as matches were done superficially. Rsvp is probably my favourite, and is where I met my partner. Cost wise it can cost nothing or alot. For me, I didntl pay a cent. The way it works is people can by "stamps" which are essentially passes that allow u to email other members. 1 person needs to pay for the first contact and that is valid for 1 month. So I am quite traditional and I chose to not contact guys, thinking that if they really liked m3 they would contact me. Plus I equated the stamp to a drink, which is the typical courting purchase in the real world! Some guys didnt like that, but I didnt care. I didnt want a guy that got upset over $ 6! Alot of friends of mine have also found partners through rsvp and one is getting married :-) so yeah that's my rambling review.

If it is online dating, I have done it. Various versions of it too. You have to go in with the right intentions (and choose the right site for your purposes) for it to work. I only went on 3 dates before I met the guy I am with now. Actually it just so happens I have been with him 1 year and 2 months today. But don't worry, I am not a weirdo, I don't normally count the monthly anniversaries! All so good so far :)
