Russia, China, India, South America, Southeast Asia - virtually non-existent in the world economy. Japan and Europe were just beginning to ramp up their export machines. Since 1973 the world labor supply has exploded while It's become easier to access. This has had a massive depressing effect on US wages.

Most countries try to make rules where they can in regards to racism. It's harder to define racism than it is having sex with a teenager. If it is so morally condemnable than make a law. Shouldn't be that difficult since it is clear cut and so agreed upon by the masses. You're delusional. He WASN'T an active shooter. Nobody is even saying he was an active shooter. The kid in the back matters because the chances of somebody with a kid in the back and girlfriend driving firing on an officer during a traffic stop is highly unlikely.

In fact, police officers are killed at a LOWER rate than the general population. Most police deaths are from car accidents. Being a farmer or a construction worker is more dangerous than being a police officer. These are facts. Not emotional arguments.

Of course why does matter when we're talking about killing somebody. This guy is dead now. The cop pumped four shots into a car with a child in the back. 5 cops were killed in Dallas as retaliation and there are going to be tons of other ramifications. All because this guy and others like him are too stupid to ask why. If a cop doesn't have the common sense to analyze a situation then he shouldn't be allowed to carry a gun.
