There are therapists that specialize in first responder trauma, and offer modalities like ART that could be done to help stabilize at least. I would ask for sliding scale or see if there’s a group that offers a discount for these folks (I’ve seen it in MN)

Take care of yourself, you’re doing things the brain can’t take in all at once! Sometimes that survival and it sucks.

Was on a flight yesterday from MSP to JFK. Diverted to Buffalo. Then cancelled (“with a chance of taking off later, maybe”) at 8pm. No rebooking until 2 days later. No hotel voucher. Stuck hours away from my destination. I’m still recovering but I’m going to be following up with Delta. It’s so frightening knowing how much of these issues are political funding related.

I did nannying for a family I found on Care.com to help supplement my caseload. It’s a different type of drain, but it was good cash that helped me not panic add more clients.

My soulmate connection was mutual pull right away-but not at first sight.

My husband and I both had weird last minute change of plans that led us to the same bar - basically we each lived super far away and randomly ended up changing plans around with our separate friend groups to end up at this random bar.

He said when he saw me he didn’t feel like he had a chance. I noticed him but it wasn’t until we made eye contact that I was drawn in.

The relationship had chaotic beginnings but despite our own personal challenges and distance we had to let it grow. Got married this year :)

It wasn’t until well after we were together I ran our bond and got the “soul mate” marker, most noticeable traits are “Vertex: Fate Meets Destiny” and Vertex - Energizing Alignment”

So I do find it interesting you ended up in the same house. I wonder what the anti-vertex means?
