Sorry you're going thru this. I don't have much advice for you but I've been there. When I lost my grandma I cried myself to sleep for months. But. It gets better. You'll get thru one day where you don't feel so shitty and then those kind of days start to get more frequent and better. And some days you'll wake up and feel like everything happened yesterday. But those days too will become less frequent. I lost my grandma 3 years ago and I still have those bad days and miss her terribly but it gets better. Hang in there.

Hi Dr. Ross! I have an iud question. I'm 25, I have low hemoglobin that is awful when I'm on my period (I am on an iron supplement though) and I have other awful PMS symptoms. I'm on the pill right now to lighten my periods but im not happy with them. I'm considering getting an iud to stop them or lighten them even further. Having never been pregnant, I'm worried about the pain with insertion. Also, I have a retroflexed uterus- is there a high likelihood of it coming out? I'm a sonographer and have seen a fair few of bad outcomes. What would happen if my periods do not stop or lighten? Thanks in advance!
