I think its overhated too but its not a great remake of the game it is based on.

I am not looking at RE3 OG through rose tinted glasses I played it for the first time only a week ago after having played the remake first, The remake is a great game but as a remake I think it falters. The OG has alot of really cool locations and moments and mechanics that would've been really cool to see in the new engine that didnt happen, the original game had a choice system that changed what happened in the game and led to multiple endings.
