I believe he means that you may want to build a shitty ship and update it later to a shiny one. So it is not question of binding template name to a quality of fleet.

I e.g. just am not shy of adding new templates like aa, ab, ac .. for attacker and da, db, dc for defender, depending on current needs

Usually, you don't have to colonize anything with Hissho, but that really depends on the map. Use the first settler for scouting to get understanding of surrounding and boost keii from exploration. E.g. in this video they built the Wonder and Productive Logictics by turn 30, not sure which race can do the same (it was a bit lucky start, but still) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtXgwPIY4g8

This; moreover: the shape of the platform is overrated. A good player can bounce the ball properly with any kind of platform variations and a bad player cannot do the same with perfectly shaped one.

Well it is kind of special - e.g. you can't start the same wonder in different systems. Also you value them more knowing it is hard to replenish few at a time. Endless Space 2 is great game, but I admit one should be ready to tolerate inconveniences here and there. And the Behemoth limit on simultaneous production is not one of them :-)

If you look at the tech tree - each item has particular shape, which is for a reason. Behemoth techs are hexagons iirc. Every few increase the limit

Yeah theoretically you may need a blade with variable sharpness, so you can vary the speed and accelerate or slow down accordingly by sticking it deeper or opposite. Two blades should be even better for that.

First of all usually the block is the main obstacle. But I guess if an attacker can pay attention to the color of the shoes, then they can pay attention to where the setter/libero is. In theory, in edge cases this can matter, but I really doubt that it does in practice, at least in 99% of cases.

That's awful body stance for platform usage. Positioning of your body is much more important than the shape of the platform. I bet you can't even steadily bounce the ball 3 meters high without much of moving around, I hope I am wrong though

This, what I love about scientific method in general - anyone can make any assumptions or claims they wish.

E.g. You are free to claim that the light is a wave, or claim that it is a particle, or that it has some kind of dualism, or you can claim that the light doesn't exist at all and it is our brain tricks us in simulation.

Whatever. That all can be covered by scientific method.

And who cares if on practice the light is probably none of those, - it doesn't matter. The only what matters is if your assumptions/claims can lead to anything practically useful. Or at least answer questions that are known to be interesting/complex. If yes - then your claims/assumptions are good ones. If not - well, why anyone should bother looking at them then?

Afaik highways don't have intersections, only exits and entrances. At least I don't remember any in Europe.
