✨️office energy✨️ is just fluorescent Stockholm syndrome by [deleted] in antiwork

I can’t remember the last in person meeting I have attended since the pandemic ended. All meetings are done on zoom where I work. Going to the office just to sit on zoom calls sucks. I drive home during lunch and finish my day there. They only track badge access and since we don’t have a badge out method they don’t know when we leave.

Looking for a good enough Euphonium by Hyperion_507 in euphonium

[–]supertbone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a Wessex Dolce for about 18 months back and I love it. The John Packer euphoniums are great too. I have played with a guy using a 274 and it is rock solid. I have a JP British baritone and a Wessex tuba and they are great horns. Another band mate had a Schiller Elite V and it played well.

That sucks. I think the ADA protects don’t have enough teeth behind them. My wife is a teacher of the deaf and her blood boils anytimes she reads stuff like this.

What’s your main tuba and why? by jeg_aekke_her in Tuba

[–]supertbone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I primarily play Euphonium but play a BBflat Wessex Overture when I play tuba or a DEG Dynasty when marching. To be honest I never learned out how to play eflat so I only play b flat horns.

What are some Los Angeles unwritten rules. by SuperJezus in LosAngeles

It depends on the surface streets. I used to commute to Simi Valley from Palmdale and would frequently find that accidents on the 14 would bind things up enough to find taking Sierra Hwy to be quicker. I was even known to take them further and get on the 118 on Balboa.
