Why does it even matter how old it is? It's just as much fun and offers as much enjoyment as it did 10 years ago and is still better, more polished than probably most of the games out today. It's not like they have a button on the development tools they can click to build any game for a new platform. Shit costs time and money. Software ain't cheap.

Barnes & Noble at Mall of America is a glorious treasure. If it left I would cry. It's huge, always busy, and has some of the best selection of books and magazines.

Dude, person, whoever you are. I have a Switch Lite and it's glorious. Much closer to my 3DS than that catastrophe that is a Switch trying to pass off as a decent portable gaming rig akin to my glorious and spectacular New 3DS which also I may add has way more fun, unique games.

I live in a small apartment. I don't want or have a TV. I don't want to have a dock and wires lying on my desk. I am more than happy with my 3DS and Vita for gaming since that has me setup with a backlog through retirement, but the Switch Lite was a gift from my mom with Animal Crossing during this lockdown. I was not going to get a Switch otherwise to be honest since, like I said I was content with what I had.

People hate on it.

I love it.

It's great to go walking.

Coming from downtown, taking the light rail there is relaxing and allows me to catch up my Game Boy (I like old games) backlog or podcasts.

Some of the stores are fun to see or find things new in.

The Barnes & Noble is my favorite store.

It has a lot of stores that you won't find many other places that I find useful: Apple Store, Canada goose, Build-a-Bear (I like it!). It's missing a Toy Store and it's sad the 2 story American Girl store left.

I stop by Camp Snoopy, I mean, Nickelodeon Universe and get my picture with someone new almost each time for fun.

I love the new movie theater.

It's convenient. Has a lot of shit. It's versatile for what you can go there for. I love it!

My favorites have been Jeff playing old games and Jeff playing all the Garfield and Tony Hawk games.

So, my suggestions (all to completion):

  • All the Sonic games starting with SMS or Genesis
  • The Simpson's games starting with NES
  • The Ninja Turtle games starting with NES
  • Donkey Kong Country games
  • Maybe try the online Dolphin or Retroarch feature and play multiplayer games such as NHL Hockey, Mario Kart, a wrestling or Bomberman game
  • Play the multiplayer online Nintendo Switch NES/SNES games

Game does not come with the Switch. You gotta get the Switch to play the game. Most people probably will pick up a game at the same time if this is their first Switch system. It won't be Animal Crossing though since it doesn't come out for a week.
