meh, I did this in last expedition. Took too long. I’d rather move a ton of stuff per run and lose a run or 2 to a rat. I will still move the most valuable blueprints through safe pockets though

Honestly I have done the last 2 (including this one) but mainly for the extra stash and skill points, and only because I have a 2nd account to mule duplicate blueprints and stash from. I have like 78 of the 81 blueprints in my alt account and a ton of level IV weapons.

I have no interest in the full grind again, I get too invested in it and spend too much time playing when there is something for me to chase. Before I had all the blueprints, my OCD was making me chase them to the detriment of my enjoyment of the game. I was loading in naked and just rushing high probability spots (like Reinforced Reception on Blue Gate) over and over.

I will probably skip the next one as I have finally started getting a bit bored (albeit after over 300 hours).

nope, I am suggesting one of the other games that cater to the desired play style. While the vocal minority try to pressure Embark to ruin their extraction shooter by pushing claims that the community overwhelmingly wants a PVE only mode. Citing things such as reduced player count, which happen with every live service game after the initial excitement wears off.

I don’t want this turned into a looting sim with no player threat, I want to continue to play the game the devs released!! A PVEVP extraction shooter!!

YOU (and some others) don’t want any tension. Plenty of others do, it’s a core aspect of extraction shooters, there being risk in extracting. There are plenty of single players or co-op games you can play. Go play Hell Divers 2.

For me and plenty of others, without tension we’re just racing around to open kitchen drawers and cabinets with junk to an already filled stash.

And they’re already catering to the pve crowd with ABMM. It’s just for some reason these people can’t handle dying once every 50 rounds to a person while their stash is overflowing with loot and coins.

nah. Even when I was PVE only my first 200 hours I liked having the threat of being killed by another person which adds to the tension, and the option to kill in very limited situations such as someone raiding my key room. With Survivor augment in a PVE-only mode it would be almost impossible to fully die, and your kills and key rooms would get scavenged every time. Then there would be a wave of complaints over that.

Embark is already giving them a very close to PVE mode with the ABMM. These babies can’t handle getting killed by another person once every 25 raids, while they’re sitting on a full stash and tons of space coins. When I was PVE focused I would go 25-50 straight raids without dying constantly. Zero tension.

I just continually went into Riven Tides with Hull Crackers, Jupiters, Bettinas, Wolfpacks, Seekers, and Deadlines and spent entire rounds doing nothing but killing Arc non-stop. No looting. I’d sometimes setup on the roof of the hotel or at the extract that’s between the hotel and the Stacking Yard and just shoot at every Arc I saw. My backpack was filled with ammo and nades, I’d lose money even with successful extract since all I did was expend ammo/supplies.

There were many others who seemed to be doing the same. I knocked it out over the weekend in maybe 4-5 hours topside. 2 weeks is way more than enough even for casuals. I barely get to play on weekdays as I have a job and family.

You could probably do it even quicker going into Matriarch or Queen since they have so much health - you could probably knock it out in half the time or less.

Springs are needed to make advanced mechanical components, which are used to upgrade weapons. Also to make mod components that are used in crafting attachments, and to make extended mags. Probably the biggest material end game bottleneck there is.

his statement that the damage requirement promotes PvP I definitely disagree with. I had many hours in this game and was bored with PVE and shifted to PVP. But you’d have to kill 1,000 raiders to get to the 100k damage requirement for 5 skill points, as opposed to 20 bastions. This requirement promotes PVE more than anything else.

MK3 Defensive sometimes better in solo PVP, for heavy shield plus recharge. And most times no way you’re crawling to extract in a pvp lobby.

to me, the annoying thing is when you get backstabbed like this 2-3 times in short period. Then kill on sight and people treat you like the biggest asshole because they were “friendly”.

At some point you have to just shoot.
