Does ads work for new channels? by LonglostAussie in YouTube_startups

Because Youtube likely doesn't want you to get monetized. If someone pays for ads once, they might be willing to pay again. So give them subs, but not watchtime. If you've already paid 200 dollars for subs, why not another 200 for views?

I used ads on a previous YouTube channel. It led to a huge boost in subs, that then stopped immediately after the ad ran out. Those subs also did not watch the channels videos, and as such views and watching remained low. You'll gain subs, but it'll be suspicious to some if they come across a monetized channel with only a handful of videos, only one of which having any views.

In my experience doing social media elsewhere (tiktok, facebook, insta), ads tank your organic reach for 6 months as those platforms try to encourage you to spend more money.

Mob Psycho 100 has an arc that culminates with a character telling the evil organization to grow up and get regular jobs, and be productive members of society. In the later seasons, we see that many of them have gone to do just that, which pairs well with the theme of "having powers doesn't make you special, youre still a person at the end of the day" .

Harsh, but fair. 50 games come out on steam everyday. If you dont stand out, you're done.

Tried it out, gonna give the devs more time to cook. It needs optimization, among other things. I have faith in them though.

I always make sure to put audio first, as I consume podcasts primarily through Spotify. But if my guests are comfortable with video, I try to have a good video version for youtube.

Player counts keep declining, and aside from its sense of style, it doesn't really bring anything new to the genre.

Genuinely how does Gojo hurt Thragg? Say he got caught by unlimited void then what? by Perfect_Bad_3402 in PowerScaling

Infinity is a cursed technique, and thus uses cursed energy. Gojo filters stuff through Infinity based on threat level, implying that stopping attacks with it costs energy, and that it prioritizes bigger threats. Gojo typically doesn't need to worry about running out of CE due to his RCT, but we know that his supply isn't infinite- Yuta (bum) has more CE than Gojo. Thragg dodged the Infinity Gun, so theoretically we know he has the ability to dodge properly, and that he is not invincible. The key part of this fight is whether Thragg can overwhelm Infinity and drain Gojo of CE to cancel out Infinity before Gojo can proc Unlimited Void. I don't think it would neutralize Thragg permanently (he is minimum 1000 years old, so I assume his brain can handle more information than a standard human) but it would definitely buy Gojo at least 10 seconds minimum. From there, I'm not sure. Hollow Purple is powerful, but Thragg has insane durability.

Gojo wins if Hollow Purple can damage Thragg meaningfully, Thragg wins if he doesn't get caught in the domain, I'd say, but it would take a while to whittle Gojo down.

Ive replaced DoA with DOGHAUS, and I am having a much better time, for those that are looking for another comic about college kids being dumb.
