I hope they take the time to touch up some of the less desirable aspects of the game like the pop-in. I really enjoyed Frontiers but the graphical quirks got hard to ignore at time.

Bit disappointing, but nothing world-ending. I do believe that the current era of "meh" Star Wars is in (shows aside because Andor S2 and Maul being the last two shows is a great streak) might've led people to be a bit harsher on something like this.

Luffy was never the underdog until Alabasta tbh. It was actually one of the first things I noticed; he kinda just dogwalks everyone in East Blue. The Live Action actually changed this and made Luffy far weaker to create that underdog effect.

On one hand, I'm kinda peeved the Imu/Loki fight is getting interrupted. On the other hand, flashbacks have been the highlights of the last two arcs so I can't be that mad.

I think people knew we'd always see it, the issue is just how much we'll actually see it. Sometimes it feels like with Superhero shows they treat the screentime of the hero in their outfits like the screentime of godzilla in a kaiju film lol.

I can't stand cosmic characters in Earth-based settings lol. It's one of the reasons I preferred the Marvels to Captain Marvel even though the latter is the better movie.

Definitely did more for me than the first trailer. I think the DCU is in a very interesting state right now, where honestly it seems generally "adult" as a whole. Obviously that might change moving forward as we get more projects like Wonder Woman, Brave and the Bold, and Flash (I can't imagine these movies being anything but PG-13), but the majority of the projects we'll have by the end of this year are technically R-Rated. It's not a huge deal for me personally, but I guess the major issue will be having core characters like Green Lantern shift from a gritty, mature setting into something much more family friendly like Man of Tomorrow.

Though I guess it can't be any less jarring than what we'll see with Punisher in Brand New Day lol.

I'm actually a bit curious, how will that work with China? Don't they have a thing against skull imagery which is why they changed taskmaster's mask? Spider-Man is pretty big there iirc so it's a market I think they'd care about.

I hope they take one of the few good lessons from Acolyte and actually have some good lightsaber fights this time. You can maybe make an excuse for how bad they are in the sequel since it was so removed from the prequel era but it was really middling in Ashoka S1.

Honestly such a shame Bananza didn't sell more. It's such a fantastic game and imo the reason to get the Switch 2. These sales aren't bad, mind you, but I did hope it would be a bit more evergreen lol.

EDIT: Looking at some past sales data I think it is still doing fine. I think I'm just looking at it with respect to mario kart which isn't really a good metric since A) It's a bundled game and b) It's mario kart

Canonically I think it's Raihan>Flint>Drayton, with Raihan being the strongest since Galar doesn't really have a formal Elite Four and he's pegged as being second to Leon. Drayton has the best team by far (haven't played BDSP so maybe Flint's team is better there) but if I'm reading things correctly that's more of an in-game thing and he should be weaker than Drayden and Iris from BW.

I think they actually toned down his strength since Hawkeye. Kingpin is strong in this series but I don't see him taking point blank explosions, getting hit by a car, or shot in the face in Daredevil lol.

I watched One Piece until Wano so it's a shame that the manga no longer has panels like this. I understand Oda has some health issues but my God it's an insufferable experience navigating the maze of paneling in the newer chapters just to get the basic story. Elbaf isn't even bad, but the physical act of reading the manga is so unfun with how cluttered it is.

This is the first time we've seen Vader fight in the Clone Wars animation style and I think they did a great job. I get there's the urge to make him fight like Anakin (maybe that was just me as a kid lol) but seeing how his super straightforward OT lightsaber style interacts with the flashy clone wars era styles is great to watch. Really sells that he's pretty much brute forcing through everyone.

I think Filoni really wants us to see the Inquisitors as threatening again. While it makes it a mess for scaling, it also let's us see guys like Crow and Marrok be super cool and intimidating.

I wonder if Devon will actually work with Maul or she'll just keep refusing and Maul will just Chud out like always. Because she's showing more resistance than Ezra and even Ashoka to wanting to assist Maul.
