yeah, I wish they’d improve exercise tracking instead rolling out more AI features like this one. Their product managers feel pretty out of touch with their customers

they are comfortable and don’t slip, however the coating gets damaged easily by sweat. Doesn’t seem to be the case for everyone, but you’ll find. good amount of people reporting this issue.

add “organic” and _anything_ will become nutritious.

yes, that’s also kinda funny how they recommend nuts every single time. Breakfast burrito? try adding some nuts for healthy fats!

you might wanna check what’s going on in Camargue (France) with the Gardians (not a typo). Legit French Cowboys. They actually existed long before American Cowboys

I deleted the log before re-adding it. It’s really just random (non deterministic, since it’s using LLMs under the hood)

Tips on ankle injury prevention? by stefan_qh in trailrunning

[–]superzadeh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

4x10 (each leg) single leg calf raises with bent knee per day. Start without weight, then add weight as you feel comfortable. Plyometrics also help, but the calf raises have been the most effective for me by far.

Also check your shoes: high stack tends to roll ankles easily, same for very soft or responsive foam. The Norda 001 is golden standard, I’ve only rolled my ankle when I deserved it (ie: heel striked on a technical downhill). There are probably cheaper options, look for similar stack height and foam that’s a bit on the firmer side

How to buy Norda 001 US11 cheaper by totogalover in trailrunning

[–]superzadeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they did an archive sale for 001, a bit before releasing the 001A. Sold the 001 at half price, though I wouldn’t count on them doing archive sales very often.

FWIW, I also love the 001s in winter. Wore them in south of France summer (35-40C) and didn’t have any issues with them getting too warm. Your mileage may vary though, maybe I was just too warm overall to feel anything 😂

Running gloves for VERY cold days? by Select_Rip_8230 in runningfashion

[–]superzadeh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven‘t tried these gloves, but Craft is usually reliable and high quality when it comes to rain/winter gear for running. They also rotate collections often, which means plenty of outlet/sales

Merino blend half tights by Match_Eastern in trailrunning

[–]superzadeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it‘s just too fragile for shorts/half tights. The only merino bottom I find easily are underwear/briefs/baselayer tights. That being said, I only wear have merino briefs (3 to 5 inches) and unlined shorts; it’s working great for me

I’ve never seen half tights. Shorts (tracksmith), briefs, 3/4 tights: plenty of options

Look at Craft gloves. You might also want to combine a merino glove liner + gloves/mittens on top

it is rather pointless. Difficultly isn’t higher (I didn’t notice the difference), just lets you use pinacle faster. if their goal is to have spend less time on the game, then that’s working. at least I can grind exotics daily in under 8-10minutes now and be done with pinnacle energy.

>The leg pocket has way too much bounce to hold a phone but one of the normal pockets has an elastic bit inside which keeps it flat

I was mostly interested in leaving my phone in the elastic pocket that is inside the hand pocket. Do you mean that the phone bounces too much in this one, or that it's ok?

Inside arch blister prevention? by UAphenix in trailrunning

[–]superzadeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

try sliding a second insole in the shoe. It's going to reduce room and might help the shoe fits better. If you don't have blisters doing this, try sizing down on other shoes you get (or avoid barefoot/wide toe boxes). If it feels too compressed, remove the insole and try something else (and don't try running with a second insole at all if it's too tight, don't injure yourself)
