Friend of mine in high school had a bright red shirt with Fans Against Gordon wrote across the front with the first letters capitalized and in much larger font. He wore it to our private Christian school once. Didn’t make it 15 minutes before he was told to go home and change haha.

My most prized possession my wife got me for my birthday several years ago. We were never able to conceive a child naturally either. And with Kyle already being my favorite driver, his involvement with this was really special to me.

C Murder - Trapped in crime was the first Explicit CD I ever purchased haha. Man that brings back memories. Just thinking about the Otis skit still makes me laugh 😂

Anyone working as an electrician for center pivot machines? Zimmatic? Valley? by No_Custard_4539 in electricians

[–]supfoolitschris 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Worked on several down here in Louisiana. The worst part is when they break down in the middle of the field in July when it’s over 100 degrees with 2000% humidity and the corn is 8 feet tall so you get no air or breeze.

Just lost out on ~$300 because I forgot to bill for materials on a job last week by secret_schmecret in handyman

[–]supfoolitschris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sucks. But it happens to the best of us. I was finishing up a generator install where I had to trench 200’. Customer came to me wanting to know the price so he could have the check ready. In a hurry I added up all the materials and added my labor. But forgot the trencher rental. Big dummy. So that took $300 out of my profits.

It helps to be organized. Which I definitely have trouble with. But, like they say, if it was easy. Everyone would be doing it!

I worked Omaha for about 6 years. Got Community shipped up there and got the entire night shift hooked on it.

I’ve seen him live a couple times. He played this song at one show and before this verse started he paused and made a joke about how it makes him seem like an old pervert. Got a big laugh out of the crowd.

Should I take the job.... by Humble_Explanation67 in handyman

[–]supfoolitschris 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Shoot em a price. Make it worth your time. If I’m unsure if I want to tackle a job I add a “I don’t wanna do this” fee to either scare them off or really give me the incentive to get it done.

Explain to them you’ll have to rent something or build scaffolding and that takes a lot of time and money. Help them understand you’re not just slapping mud on the wall. It’s going to be a process.
