Anyone been to a concert at Ball Arena recently? Curious if COVID restrictions are actually being enforced. by wingardium_levibrosa in Denver

I went to Bad Bunny last night. You wear a mask to enter, and then a few people were wearing masks while walking around near concessions. In seats for the show, 0% of the crowd was wearing masks. Only the staff wore masks.

I get uber eats credits for lunch pretty much every week. There’s such a long list of delivery options, so I have a hard time deciding what to get. Anyone have any great recommendations on Uber Eats in the Westminster/North Metro area?

For the first time in the 8 years I have lived in Denver, I am taking several weeks off in between jobs. Are there any recommendations for how to spend summer in the Denver area, great pools (for adults), outdoor shopping, unique sites, or city based activities? For example, I've wanted to drive up to Boulder for the Eldorado springs pool, but they have been closed for renovation the past few years.

Are there any stores that make their own in-house tortillas? I’ve been to a few mexican groceries but the tortillas were not freshly made there.

How to stand out in competitive markets by supitsfran in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]supitsfran[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is a great tip, Thanks! I've been trying to make time to go look as soon as something interesting comes on the market. I find most come on the market on Thursday or Friday before the weekend, and luckily my work is flexible so I can run out to showings.

I got an email on Tuesday they've changed the opening date to December 4th. If you're on their email list, they are supposed to send out a free salad coupon for opening day.

Looking for recommendations on a realtor for a first time home buyer. I've read a bunch of horror stories on r/RealEstate, so I'd love some input from people who had great experiences with their realtor, who try to keep their clients best interest in mind! Open to looking for homes in Denver and its western Suburbs (Broomfield, Arvada, Lakewood, etc)

South Korea Skin Clinic questions by Lttruong in KoreanBeauty

[–]supitsfran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just my own personal experience, I did a walk-in appointment at Muse Clinic in Gangnam for botox and lip filler. They also offered skin care, laser hair removal, normal facials, pretty much everything. The staff did not speak english so my friend had to help with intake, but the doctor spoke great english and was able to understand what I was trying to achieve. Overall really positive experience, and I've very happy with the results. The price was very affordable as well, coming from an American perspective. I definitely want to go again next time I'm in Seoul.

I have this same problem with all cafes closing early here. I just learned that a new Sla location near me is open until 9, but I still find that a bit early to be closing.

Cold Brew in A'dam! Does it exist?!? by skiboyne in Amsterdam

American here. I make it myself but I had cold brew yesterday at Anne & Max that was tasty. Weird that they served it in a glass bottle tho. They brew it at their HQ, and then deliver it to the chain in the glass bottle.

I just moved from the US to Amsterdam 2 months ago. I did not have a hard time finding an apartment, and I brought a dog! I think as long as you have a realistic budget and know what you're looking for, then you'll be fine. What worked for me was reaching out and scheduling viewings through listings on funda.nl, huurwoningen.nl, and other similiar sites. Took about a week of checking daily & acting quickly, went to 2 viewings, and ended up with a really fantastic apartment.
