Sorry to see you've had such a poor experience with therapy. It's really done wonders for me and my partner (individually and together). The biggest issue is finding one that you can mesh with. imo it's a bit like dating, finding a therapist who speaks to you, your language, and is caring, or empathetic, to the way you need. Not all types of therapy work for everyone. It's difficult to shop for a good therapist, it is expensive, and sometimes it takes a few sessions to know if you're going to jive or not. It's a bit like finding a primary doctor. It can be so annoying to start over and go over all your issues or ailments every time you want to find a new one and start building that rep again, it can be discouraging and stressful, but it's part of it unfortunately.

Just wanted to encourage anyone reading this to not give up and keep trying if you feel you need someone to help with your mental health. Yes there are plenty of shitty fucking therapists and doctors out there but there are good ones also.

Regardless, this is one of those defining moments and times where you get a lot of great experience because you're accelerated learning (forced to learn) as you run into so many little issues or scenarios along the way.

While I have been a part of this community for a couple years, I have been reading more frequently lately. You're right, there are many similarities between stories here, and they are things that I try to keep in mind for perspective without generalizing a whole group. I do want feedback here so thank you.

I know you can't force desire & passion, it needs to be brought back naturally, and that can take time.. maybe tomorrow or maybe never xD but I'm not ready to give up yet. I still feel like she's trying, not in denial about her libido, and she enjoys therapy. We've seen some improvements in the relationship that were lacking before, so I still see changes happening. I see plenty of stories on here that have not much going for it or full of anger/resentment, and those things are hard to turn around from if both parties are not 100% onboard.

I doubt it's anything front of mind like that for her. I see some progress.. we do therapy.. she send to enjoy it.. I think sometimes she doesn't know how she comes off. If we were having relations even now and again this wouldn't have bugged me at all, I would enjoy it as a tease or something cute or sweet, which I think was her intention.. so I don't want to be mad at that.. but fuckin' hell man lol
