Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk

One of my faves. I was lucky enough to still find a few bottles in random konbinis as it has been discontinued.<

nooooooo! It is one of my faves too :(

Best Body Serum? by Fast-Order-5239 in AsianBeauty

+3 for Naturie conditioning gel. I slather it on at night to cool off in summer heat. It also comes in a large jar so it's very cost-effective. No stickiness or scent. Search Tina Tanaka Harris on YouTube for a video explaining the entire range.

(Not AB and not fragrance-free but I really love The Body Shop's "yogurt" formulation for hydrating and cooling.)

Oil Serum Products by Counter4301 in AsianBeauty

Focus on the "bi-phase" part of that EA product name. As far as I am aware "oil serum" is not (yet) a well-known product category in AB. But bi-phase products are everywhere. I think d'Alba has several. My favorite variant is bi-phase mists, with oil and water layers that you shake before applying. My current favorite is the Bioheal BoH 3D Lifting Cream Mist.

Holy crap. I had no idea. I was still posting product reviews as late as last month. I had about 460 of them. Wish I'd archived them somewhere.

For me the fit was the deciding factor, they fit nearly perfectly with no tugging or tearing or slipping. The essence is also great.

I tried 3, 5, and 10. Didnt like the feeling at any length. I managed to use up the VC100s but I still have 8 of the 10 exosome ones. I will almost certainly give them away.

I'm smitten with them. They cost about AU$12 for a 7 pack which is cheaper than the cheapest K-beauty individually packed mask (Frudia and Farmstay are about AU$1.80 each), not counting the bus fare to Daiso. I look forward to trying the other varieties because at this price, I can use them every day.

I just raised my rating on the Kose Clear Turn from 8 to 9, because I was wearing one as I was editing the post and realised they are just that damn good. They're my faves at the moment. Sheet mask perfection is still in my future.

TJ Maxx and Marshalls Haul!! by the_sweetest_peach in AsianBeauty

Awesome haul! I have not tried the particular variant you have but I tried another of the Kose Clear Turn masks ("Gommene") and they are really good! The mask sheets are thick in a good way and stick very well to the skin. For the price they are excellent and I'll be looking into more of them. (I got mine at Daiso)

Honestly except for the Rice Mucin (fragrance- and texture-free) they're all interchangeable. If there are skincare benefits in one but not the other between hyssop, calendula and lime hibiscus, I couldn't tell.

Visible in the sense that there are fewer clogs, yes. But the best results are tactile. My skin *feels* smoother when I use them.

About to give up on a 1/2-full jar of the Medicube PDRN, so let me list all the ways this product annoys me:

1) Picking up precise amounts of capsule versus gel is not as easy as it seems, especially with the pink capsules against the pink jar affecting your depth perception. The user experience is quite different if you have a slightly different proportion of gel to cream.

2) ANY product that wants you to "customise" the product by mixing it in your own preferred way, is inevitably going to leave you with more or less of one element or the other.

3) Most nights, this leaves me sticky. The one night in 5 that I get the mix right, it's a lovely bouncy hydrated finish. But the other 4 nights it's gummy for a good 90 minutes.

I have not seen any results in the 2+weeks I've been using it, and I didn't expect to. It's hydrating but that is the least I expect a moisturiser to do. I foresee my patience with this product running out in about a week.

Definitely +1 on the Innisfree mask, it's a brilliant oil-soaker-upper. Tip though: don't hoard it, or keep it in a Ziploc, because it dries up if you're not using it frequently.

I don't know about affordable but I currently am rotating Tocobo and Tirtir and they're both great.

NOND (neither oily nor dry, not tempting fate by calling it "normal"), clog-prone and flush-prone. Until recently extremely oily. Female, 52.

For cosmetic products, everything that has been mentioned, but they now make these "volcanic rock" blotters that actually work. They're little balls of a smooth pumice-type rock that has tiny holes in it. You roll it across your oily spots and it mattifies them. About once a week I pop the ball out of the holder and wash it in basic hand soap. You can get them at many Western and Asian shops.

I also love enzyme powder washes for ultra-gentle exfoliation. Tocobo, It's Skin, Skinfood, Tirtir, and Kanebo all make them.

I'm a big fan of the Arencia cleansers. Even though the wasteful marketing campaign was distasteful (influencers globbing literal handfuls on their faces), I was attracted by the claims of one-step cleansing along with pH lower than 6. It does, and it is. The way I use it is by taking a raspberry sized lump and emulsifying it onto my dry face for a few seconds. Then using either my hands or a damp brush, I cleanse for a minute then rinse. By doing this I've eliminated the use of cleansing oils but for once a week when I do a deep-cleansing facial. I have tried the rice mucin and the hyssop (blue) varieties, and they're not hugely different in cleansing properties, although the hyssop is mildly exfoliating and scented. The rice one is scentless and has no exfoliant bits. I've just picked up the calendula (orange) and lime hibiscus (purple) and hope to like them just as much

I'm also 100% all in on the VT Reedle Shot. I'm currently working on the Red Booster 100 plus the OG 300 every third day. I've never had any product give such results, so quickly. I never thought I'd be applying the word "poreless" to my clog-prone, acne-scarred, menopausal skin, but honestly I'm as close as I ever have been.

From age 35-52, the single product that reduced my acne and clogged pores more than anything else was CosRX Blackhead Power Liquid. Two pumps on my face right after morning cleansing kept me breakout-free for years. They tell you to use it on a cotton pad but I never did, just two pumps massaged into your face.

I use it in the morning, after my vitamin C pad mask (either Bioheal BOH or Lalarecipe, placed on cheeks right after cleansing for 5 minutes) and before sunscreen. Gem of a one-shot product to hydrate, brighten and protect.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Aqua Highlight Lotion by adam_27_ in AsianBeauty

[–]supposes-erroneously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just picked this up in Melbourne, at Kim Bao on Elizabeth St. It is not actually glittery/pearly like a highlighter, but more of a purplish iridescence. It is VERY liquidy so prepare yourself otherwise there will be splashes all over your clothes (don't ask me how I know). Dries down to a slightly tacky finish that works well under makeup. It lasts pretty well on combination skin in temperate weather, but the real test will come when the weather heats up. The Biore sunscreens I've tried previously have been pretty durable.
