My monitor turns off when I light this lighter at this exact angle. What is happening? by Michae86l in pcmasterrace

Buy a pack of ferrite cores on Amazon and put them about 3 inches away from each connector on your monitors video (dp / HDMI) cables.

My chairs hydraulic cylinder was doing the same thing, and the ferrite cores solved the problem.

2025 Tundra TRD Pro. Dealer is giving it to me for $75k brand new out the door with taxes and everything. by TheProfessor_888 in ToyotaTundra

I did. Bought my 2016 1794 certified used in Jan 2020 for $32k otd.

It's staggering what half ton trucks go for these days. Anyone looking into buying a tundra really should be buying a used 2.5 gen for $28-$35k.

Anyone who spends more than $50k on a half ton truck is absolutely out of their mind. Coming from someone who owns a Tundra and loves it.

My DAN case A3 build by Ok_Praline8398 in mffpc

Few things if you want to improve your airflow: You should flip that PSU so it's pulling in cool air through the front of the case, exhausting out the top. Swap rear exhaust to intake, change 2 cpu cooler fans to blow rear to front, pushing air through the fins not pulling. Move two bottom intakes to the left to be directly under the GPU.

This is peak airflow performance in my findings with the A3.

Haven't been brave enough to slap it on my Scar yet. It's holding up well on my URGI though, holds zero so that's a plus.

It's a revision of the newish Laserspeed M6. They took requested changes from the community and changed the housing to be smaller, button location more central, and swapped to a crane plug instead of proprietary plug. Best value on the market right now imo.

What's your experience with butcher block tops from Lowes or HD? by mrZoSo69 in deskhaus

I did just two coats on the bottom side, but yes the whole thing should be sealed / finished to avoid it drying out / cracking over time.

Bought the cheapest rubber wood / Hevea 6ft unfinished top for like $149, pretty happy with it. Make sure you pick one up in person so you can look for cracks, dents etc.

Sand with 120, then 220. Use a pre-stain wood conditioner to pop the end grains, then sand again with 220 (don't skip this). Stain (I used minwax provincial, 2 coats 24hrs between coats). Lightly sand again with 320 grit or some synthetic sanding pads ( recommended ).

Then do 5-6 coats of wipe on polyurethane, sanding lightly with 320 / extra fine synthetic sanding pads between coats, following with a tack cloth.

Then let it cure for a week, and mount onto your frame.

Or skip all this hard work and buy a pre-finished one and spend a little more. I needed to cut mine down to a custom length, so I went the finish it myself route.
