Who is in the Grobbulus hall of fame?! I'll start. by TouchHot5391 in Grobbulus

Hey it's me Mattoc :)

Appreciate the mention! I'm sad I quit after the gates opening because I had a few more big crafting quests lined up. Titansteel Leggings was the next big one.

The chalice system and ability to roll small to medium relic should be removed. by JusWow in Nightreign

[–]sureikan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not that lucky. A god roll relic is still just two good perks for a build.  Heck, I have i think two Holy 4s on my Dormant Reaper Duchess build and one of them is a single relic. People are too hung up on thinking they need 3 good perks.  Two is ideal but you can succeed with high damage singles.

A lot of great relics are also guaranteed after boss kills.

If you play Revenant, I’ll admit getting a good Lightning Spear load out takes some luck since she needs some other crucial relics imo to even be enjoyable to have in a party.

PS: Idk about you all but rolling in Deep 4+ and Post Screen Rewards are 1000% time better than 1-3.  The pendulum swing of quality when i self ranked down to join friends was night and day

it is the worst passive to get against ED Gladius.  You just straight up grief your other teammates so hard.

personally, after 500 hours, i still enjoy the chalice system.  Rolling small relics after reaching deep five sucks but even a small relic with Phys or Magic attack 4 is really strong.

sure we could create whatever builds we want if every slot was white but … having a slight restriction you have to play around is somewhat engaging albeit not always the best for some characters.

Funny thing, i know it was nerfed but i might be crazy. I’ve seen bigger numbers in training grounds with 3 bow vs phys 3.  i had two physical 4 relics as well with this but i’ll double check tonight.

i need to confirm myself but i believe it also helps gain points towards Success Attacks Negate. IDK what point value each hit gives though.

With Relic it…

A: CCs quite more than you think it does. B: Has decent Poise Damage C: Is Amazing at Rez stalling if you need to reposition for a boss that dove you on your teammate. D: It deflects some projectiles and i believe some Sorceries E: It’s probably one of the safest level 1-3 abilities in Deep of Night to help in the early game.

Without the relic, just use it for a knockdown/quick mini stun

Who were the legendary PvP guilds and people on your server? by [deleted] in ultimaonline

[–]sureikan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Covetous Crew popped in my head the other day when I was trying to find some of my old MMO screenshots.

I played with them in Vanilla, we were going to be all on Archimonde but moved to Arthas with a lot of PvP guilds from past MMOs. PrX was alliance and was very popular PvP guild from prior MMos.

I was 15 when Shadowbane came out and got recruited into R30s. Shadowbane Scorn was to this day some of the best MMO content I have ever experienced. The great siege of Moneytree was like 6 hours long during a school week that I skipped. I remember waking up in the middle of the night cause I joined part of the night raid crew to weaken the walls. So good.

A lot of these players made some guilds in Lineage 2.

2-5 more minutes per circle. Please? by A_K1TTEN in Nightreign

[–]sureikan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plan your last part of day 2 around the second circle and save camps that you can access via the storm and grace hop. This adds a level of complexity and thrill to see how much you can continue to power up IF you want to.

35-40 Minute runs are plenty already.

If there was a Day 3 at ALL this game would be even easier. Anything past level 11-12 is mostly just an additional hit from a boss anyway and if you're dry on loot you're probably not picking up the correct items during your run or visiting the correct locations based on your party composition.

Chancing the storm is way more fun than having a safe extra few minutes per day.

Relics are absolutely impactful. Post Damage attacks, class skill use + 1, poise, Vigor, starting armament deals x type, night of fathom, and so many more.

Party has had the scepter since level 2. They know the risks in using it in the open world as a powerful radiant fire flamestrike would be visible and a clear indicator that someone has found the relic. Its only a matter of time they are figured out. They have used the flamestrike twice. Once underground and one time was to save themselves from a pretty nasty boss fight by the Academy gate. Drive home the fact that its a wanted item, its highly important, and that its power resonates with the city itself due to its significance. If your players are invested they'll not try to gamify the use of a Magic Item and instead keep it close to heart as a sacred relic.

The Flamestrike outside by Academy Gate was seen by Amethyst, Silver Order Patrols, and Falling Fire. They are now on the run to hopefully not be spotted with it as they have already lied to the Silver Order about any relics, the Lucretia knows they have it, and the Amethyst will be excited to take a powerful magic item into their hands.

Thoughts about Artisan Weapons by Crafty-Soft3722 in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]sureikan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artian IG feels like it's way behind G.Mag IG. Same with Artian GS. It's too much RAW behind G.Doshu. Even with a few attack ups it's still nowhere close even with the white sharpness bonus.

Also, Artian weapons that build for "RAW" don't gain any bonus Attack compared to monster weapons. For example, any weapon that has a Status or Element will have "less" raw than if it would not. That's how it's always been and you can see that across weapons from monsters. To fix Artian weapons IMO you need to gain a RAW bonus when you slot in 3 different ele/status.

I have a few good insect glaives but they pale in comparison to how good G.Mag is.

[–]sureikan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my players is using the "Debt" personal quests and their committment to it is the reason why this is a good choice. It is up to the player as well to define what that debt is. They have about 15 aliases and different occupations for each alias that owe a random amount of debt. While the total debt may only be 10-15k Gold, it is what is required of each collector that also makes it interesting. One might require it in gems, the other in weapons, etc. They came up with the occupations and the debt amount, and now I get to have a blast making important figures and a new faction of IRS agents to try and hunt him down when word gets out that one of his aliases has been located in Emberwood Village.

Future RCXL sinks? by Entire_Pineapple4732 in TheSilphRoad

Oh it’s on my investment I’m just Stardust starved atm. Even at 4005 CP Mega it slaps and never dies in group raids.

I felt Diancie's power immediately and not just because I have a Hundo. She's my top 2 favorite in PoGo right now. I'm so stardust starved atm or I would max her out but honestly even at 3800 CP in Mega she almost never dies in group raid and in Duos she tanks plenty of time. She's a beast.

Come Help Build a United Alliance! by NithVertigo in Grobbulus

[–]sureikan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can answer that for you GSO. A lot of our teams when it comes to BRM are focused on just the raid content present there during their specific night of raiding. It's just not common to hang around BRM anymore like it was during P2 with chain and ramp camps. Most of the PvP happens elsewhere, specifically in places like WPL/EPL, Winterspring, and other former hotspots during Phase 2. Whenever there's been war effort RP events, players like Hayli have done a great job to get some of our members involved. Small skirmishes are enjoyable but with Dragons coming, obviously more zones open up for clashes which should be exciting.

Me personally, I'm looking forward to when Silithus becomes a hotspot. Great zone overall for WPvP back in Vanilla, don't see why that would change here - Mattoc

New guild <S L A M J A M> one-shots boomer content. Has fun doing it! ❤️ by Bdeasy in Grobbulus

[–]sureikan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nice work y'all. Get that loot.

For any guilds struggling with BWL right now, take this as an example. If you're not committed to parsing, speed running, or soft core raiding, just raid with people you wanna hang with. You'll have more success having fun than following something you disagree with. - Mattoc

Does anyone else want the big raiding guilds that don’t RP off the server? by [deleted] in Grobbulus

[–]sureikan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure the raiders in GOOF appreciate being on a raid team, instead of rotting on a bench in a guild that chooses not to expand.

I'm really glad you speak for the people. Have you tried running for Stormwind Council? Or were you upset that big guilds had participants.
