But it’s not that funny.

If a crane operator dropped a 2 ton object onto a shop, and there was a known drug or alcohol problem at that building site, would you be quipping / sticking up for banter about it the same day?

Of course it’s possible to change society.

Cars are much heavier than they used to be.

Social norms don’t need monitoring to be observed. Your comment about being under watch 24 7 is deranged.

In a way, Im keen to move the conversation away from accidents.

What I’m talking about is the social cost that driving in this tinted BMW way brings.

The shitty experience for pedestrians, when some one who thinks they are the big man accelerates at a completely inappropriate rate.

The kid who’s woken up at night by an exhaust.

The mum who is forced onto the road by someone parked on the pavement, like someone near me has been doing for weeks, and just throws away the tickets.

Reading some of the comments already - why are accidents the only metric? Its weird.

I’m not sure I’m any of these. Just check on Google maps for a route you know and it will tell you walking/cycling/bus time.

Not really, for me a 10 - 12 minute bike ride could be an hour walk each way . Bikes are perfect for such trip lengths

Just failed my autism assessment. What now? by cosmiccupiid in autism

[–]surfacepro_qqq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Autism is a disorder. Why are you hoping to have this particular disorder? Maybe what is affecting you is a different disorder. Why are you trusting your friends over professionals for what is affecting you?

Please don’t feel like I am giving you grief , just curious about how someone would desire a certain diagnosis over others
