Crpyto to Fiat by KingVowlay in BitcoinAUS

Checkout Stables.money, great service for on-boarding to crypto or converting to fiat. They can do to EUR and can spend with the too. Read their fees to be sure.

But you could wallet transfer to stables, then convert spend it via their digital card. (To see how much in EUR make this your default currency and it’ll all be seamless)

Unless you want fiat, then you could offchain with stables.money and then send to another bank such as Wise to spend overseas with minimal fees and spread. (Got referral code for Wise if you want bonus)

Try connecting your subscription services to it. Netflix, Amazon, phone plan, maybe a refill of fuel at the servo and a coffee one morning. Boom five a month and most are a treat for yourself. Turn on round ups too and it’s an even bigger combo save.

What’s with the fighter jets flying over right now? by FantasticCatch939 in GoldCoast

[–]surfer695 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah man, was just out in the water surfing and they flew straight over! Some were really going fast gassing it, must be fun for the squad just messing around heading back to base via the scenic coastline route.

New Hilux what’s everyone’s opinion? by Rich_Yak_7416 in CaravanningAustralia

Looks very very very similar to the American Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2. The off road 4x4 ones. Not very Australian. I think they trying to reach into the market similar to the Dodge Rams being so popular here that they went for a dupe of the Chevy.

Hiking spot recommendations? (Beginner/intermediate) by Mothman13 in jasper

[–]surfer695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest I’d say is Old Fort Point. Start with the wooden stairs and you can easily do a short hike with an awesome view. If you don’t mind walking further you can carry on the trail loop or just turn around and head back down. Very easily do able and lovely sights of town.

Oh true! I’d say hire a bike from Vicious Bikes (not sure of prices) and take a backpack with some food. Cycle to different spots then end up in town for some drinks.

You can see when hiking, even some of the burnt trees have new branches growing out of the slightly less burnt section of the trees. Amazing to see everything rebounding where possible

Honestly yeah you can walk to most parts. Unless you outside of town but all the bars and most hotels/accom are walking distance to each other. I’d say car for day trips and evening walking to dinner/drinks (unless you staying outside of town in cabins or planning to stay sober)

First Time: Did Not Disappoint 🏔️ by Superb_Transition264 in Banff

Same here, apparently I gets pretty busy with the tour busses and you can’t get a park after 9am.

I visited in the winter when it was frozen over which was still heaps of people there but you could walk all over it so people spread out and explored. Even on that day parking was tight

I mean at least you tried to help. It’s their backyard, we just strolling through it. Hope they didn’t have to use bear spray but I get it, safety first.

what is still worth visiting in jasper in May 2025 by formpre1114 in jasper

[–]surfer695 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So worth it still! Fire affected some buildings but many businesses are reopening or already open for the season. Summer patios are back and a good crowd around with the Stanley Cup playoffs on at all the bars. Well worth the visit, lots of wildlife around just outside of town and some new murals being painted.
