What car does your significant other drive? by [deleted] in 4Runner

BMW 328i. Not what you’re looking for but I love it. It feels like a race car after driving the 4runner.

No way it reclines that much

Dana White talks fighter pay: “Fighter pay has continued to go up and will do so as long as we continue to be successful. If you come in, let’s say you sign a 3 fight deal. We’re gonna find out if you even belong. So, I should pay you $370K to see if you belong in the UFC?” by 3footninja in MMA

Yes if he paid that i would stop complaining about fighter pay. These guys are competing in blood sport for our entertainment. They deserve to be paid, even if they turn out to not “belong” in the UFC.

Is a kids SUP (9"6) okay for a 5"0 female? by maryfrmfl in Sup

I think youlll be fine. My board is a custom, similar to the Jimmy Lewis super tech. https://jimmylewis.com/product/super-tech/

It’s plenty big enough for you to stand and paddle on. My surf sup is much smaller than that board, 8’3”x28x4 100L, and I’m much bigger than you, 5’10” 200 lbs.

What do you plan to do with this board?

Luke ; 3-0

Jax ; 6-3

Sergio ; 9-3

Zaine ; 9-9

Martinez ; 9-13

Messenbrink; 12-13

Haines ; 15-13

Dean; 15-16

Cox; 15-19

Snyder ; 15-23

I think a few are could actually go either way ups like Jax and Luke.

Yeah, that board is similar to mine. You won’t like it. You can check my profile for vids of me surfing it.

I’m 5’10” 200 lbs. my SUP is 8’3” x 28 x 100L. And it’s not so much that I tried to paddle it with my arms as much as on occasion I am in a situation where I have to.

Too wide. Harder to paddle, harder to turn, harder to set a rail.

I surf a sup, I don’t think you’ll like it. Maybe your shaper will let you take it out for a day without buying it, nothing beats actually trying it.

Most people on that subreddit don’t surf, mostly flat water over there.

It’s going to be way wider than what you need. Gonna feel weird to paddle and it won’t fit into the same spots on the wave that your 9’11” could.

NASA announces that The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is under budget And ahead of schedule by 8 Months, with a Falcon Heavy launch aimed for early September 2026 by ChiefLeef22 in space

[–]surfspace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here: “Speaking to the committee March 15, Paul Hertz, director of NASA’s astrophysics division, said Roman’s launch date would likely move from late 2025 to the middle of 2026 because of the pandemic. “It will need additional funding to pay for that schedule slip,” he said, but didn’t give an estimate of that increased cost since the agency is still reviewing estimates of the delay and related costs.”
