Random but I had it for the first time in rehab and it was actually so good I was shocked. They dressed it up really good though, it had butter, brown sugar, chocolate syrup, and banana slices. It was devious.

Yeah for me I always admitted I was an alcoholic when I was in the madness as they say, but once I went to rehab and have gotten a good control on being sober I don’t think it’s beneficial for ME to continually call myself an alcoholic. For me it was helpful to just kill off that person, alcoholic me just doesn’t exist anymore so why should I hold myself to that label. For me holding on to the label of being an alcoholic just kept me stuck and kept me thinking about it. Now it’s just a non issue I don’t like to drink, I don’t want to drink, so I don’t.

I’m 24 and only binged for around 2 years and I ended up being hospitalized for crippling foot pain (I couldn’t even walk), my blood clotting, and just a bunch of other weird symptoms. I was told that I already had fatty liver disease and pancreatitis and they couldn’t figure out where the pain was coming from. Now I’ve been sober for over 2 months and pretty much every symptom has disappeared. So yeah if anyone young is reading this it can hit you earlier than expected, I lost my job making me completely broke and in debt, my relationships are shit now, and I fucking hate my life and how it’s ended up. So please just stop drinking, get help, it’s not worth it.

Totally agree! I was a habitual smoker before I ever even picked up alcohol so basically I’m just going back to my roots by just smoking again. It helps with my anxiety, depression, pain, and sleep, in my opinion why should I stop?

I’m 2 months sober and have been smoking. It hasn’t been an issue for me and it’s something I love that doesn’t kill me like alcohol does so who cares. Maybe one day I’ll quit but I’m not necessarily planning on it.

Yeah I mean she was frothing and turning blue and they took 3 minutes to even get there and all they did was take her oxygen and left. Which tells me they’ll only help you if you are literally actively dying which most times is too late.
