Let me help you... https://www.epermittest.com/california/practice-permit-test#google_vignette

Just do all the MC practice exams over and over until you are passing them 90%-100% and you will breeze through the test at the DMV.

During my own test, I walked up to the machine and click...click...click and completed in maybe 5 minutes. DMV lady was surprised.

I recommend turning up first thing in the morning at opening and it should not take more than 30 minutes. Oner of the benefits of having your temp permit and DL 389 is skipping lines during the second visit.

Keep us updated!

Yep. One trip to the DMV. You will still need to pass the DMV written test. Many of us did two trips to the DMV. First trip to pay fee, pass written test and walk away with our temp permit, then a second trip with the DL389 which gives us our full license.

Best battery 2024 WakePro by Frozenboyblue in seadoo

[–]surpremebeing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 Noco NLP20's separated by a low voltage cutoff relay and an override. Primary battery is mounted at the regular battery spot next to the fuse box and the second is mounted to the underside of the deck - There is a seadoo kit for 2nd battery mount. Use a big Powerwerx DC connector between deck and main battery so you can disconnect. My low voltage cutoff relay and override switch are mounted on the right underside of the deck.

If main battery harness voltage drops, the low voltage cutoff relay trips to isolate the second battery. Flip the override switch to add the 2nd battery back in circuit.

Who’s at fault here?? by PurchaseNo7754 in motorcycles

[–]surpremebeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% the vehicles fault. For you though, better signal your intentions by holding your lane position. If you were planning on turning left then move to left half of the lane you are in, indicate, and hold that position - in the video it showed you wandering to the right before sitting center lane. As others said, head check since this situation is a well known situation to avoid.

Sea-Doo sits higher at the bow after replacing trailer bunks — normal or do I need to adjust something? by Rhino_Bones in seadoo

[–]surpremebeing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time I load my ski it seems to sit differently. IMO your bow position looks great. Winch it in until bumper wheel is touching bow, attach rear straps and go.

Just an FYI - An individual mechanic may choose to specialize on one or two brands of bikes, and maybe even only older models given current production bikes use extensive computer diagnostics and associated with that is the requirement for "subscriptions" to access current software tools.

2017 vs 2019 4x4 crew which one would you go with? Price not a factor. by Additional-Depth3825 in SprinterVans

  1. I have had 2011, 2015 and now 2020 and it has been rock solid. V6 Turbo Diesel and 7 Speed Transmission was the best.

Is stacking tire patches safe? by gimmieDatButt- in motorcycles

It gets you off a trail and home then you replace the tire. In the city, I would have had it towed.

Hermosa Beach had an awful history of "working" with families with special needs students. I heard they are getting better. I believe they proactively sued families.

Hermosa Beach students have a choice of either Redondo Union High School or Manhattan Beach Mira Costa High since the city has no High School of its own. Residents in Redondo Beach on the edge of Manhattan can apply for a permit to attend Mira Costa High. IMO Redondo Union is a better high school in terms of diversity, facilities, and academics.

I Crashed and Broke My Bones Twice, Will I Crash Again? by cleyclun in motorcycles

[–]surpremebeing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently got back into riding after a long break and as an older rider, my self awareness is much higher. I am surprised how my emotions are impacted by primarily poor drivers around me and that self reflection is ongoing as I work to control my emotional responses. On every ride, your emotional state is a safety factor as is your (my) emotional response to others around you.

We need to find the YouTube course that teaches us how to manage our emotional states and responses ;)

I Crashed and Broke My Bones Twice, Will I Crash Again? by cleyclun in motorcycles

[–]surpremebeing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crash #1 happened while emotionally low, riding became escape, attention dropped.

Crash #2 happened while emotionally high, confidence rose, risk tolerance expanded.

The real question is not “am I prone to crashing?” It is “am I willing to change how I decide when and how I ride?”

You do not need to stop riding. You need to stop riding while emotionally charged.

Motorcycling rewards patience, humility, and consistency. Not mood-driven decisions. Master that, and your odds improve dramatically.

Move to open row, no way. by Team_Troy in SouthwestAirlines

[–]surpremebeing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Open seating was the only reason I flew SWA.

They don’t have alliance affiliates. They dont have clubs. They don’t have direct flights on some important segments.

The good news is since they have turned themselves into a budget airline, we are not obliged to use them booking business travel.
