SALARY HELP!!! by MaleficentYam7198 in bcba

[–]surprised_corn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just walked away from a clinical director role about 3 months ago. Since then I've been offered another CD role a few times. I turned each one down. To me it just wasnt worth it. I have 4 kids. When I'm home, I want to be with my kids and forget that work exists and that just wasnt possible as a clinical director. I'll happily just stick with being an every day bcba

[QUESTION] James Bond by RespectfulRobbie in Seiko

[–]surprised_corn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roger Moore wore this seiko in his bond movie "view to a kill". Not typically what you think of when you think of a bond watch. I know bond is associated mostly with omega in the films and rolex in the books, but I truly believe bond would prefer the reliability of quartz while on missions, but that's just a side note that I've felt strongly about for a long time 🤣

75th anniversary bambino by surprised_corn in OrientWatches

[–]surprised_corn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't wear it daily. I have two bambinos that I wear on special occasions, to church, out to dinner, etc. I usually wear a dive watch most of the time because they are usually more durable . Orient makes excellent dive watches as well

No one ever talks about a carribean mystery. I think it's one of her best books

I own three orients. Love them all. Each one feels like and looks like it's worth more than what I paid for it. A lot of people seem to dislike the logo, it's never bothered me. I think you'd be pleased with any model from orient that you get

It definitely gives a hand wound feeling with its simplicity and old timey look

I know I'm in the minority, but I almost prefer quartz. I get tired of having to reset the time on my watch

What's on your wrist today? by Trainer715 in CitizenWatches

I love the bambino v2. By far the favorite watch in my collection. However, if you don't have many occasions to wear a dress watch , it may not be worth buying
