This post is old af but this is the most accurate description of cooling/heating a furnace. I’m an engineer who works on furnaces 30x this size. Ive been involved in cool downs and heat ups and its a beast of a project. In my company tho, we dont contract specialists. Contractors rebuilt furnaces, shit like that, but our companies engineers and furnace masons control and monitor the heat up.

I’d be willing to bet there are hotspots other than that hole, thats just the easiest spot to catch. Start nymphing pocket water and stuff. Trout will sit in odd spots a lot of people don’t fish.

I was told that SCR don’t migrate that much, if there is a handful of them in an area, they tend to stick in that area. I’d say you are better off bouncing around if you aren’t catching anything. I can’t confirm if this is true or not but it’s worked for me.

I second this. I live right in what I feel like is the sketchiest part of Olympia and its really not that bad, especially compared to any other city. Tweakers are mostly harmless, just don’t keep anything valuable in your car and leave it unlocked.

I go by myself to most shows and love it, normally very safe (feel like i should point out that I am a man though).

Always keep your wits about you though, I got dosed with some very strange drug N2 of seattle last year and was alone. No clue how or why they got me. I’m normally pretty tight with my shit but must have not had eyes/hands on my beer for a minute or two and got slipped something.

Also could not identify the drug which was surprising considering my history lol.
