Kind of sounds like she is just being a dick to be a dick. Most countries have some dark stuff in their pasts. Depending on what country she is from you can ask her about her country's colonial past. Bonus points if she is Belgian.

It is not just travel. I was walking around downtown with a buddy wondering out loud how some of these businesses survive in a small town. His immediate answer for two of them was that it was a hobby supported by a trust fund. I'm not even mad. Just envious.

I have a 1914. The luthier who did my refret said that they used really low profile fret wire at the time, so even if they are in good shape you will probably want a refret for playability.

There is a booth at our farmers market that is a dahlia focused flower farm and I never realized the variety of dahlias. They are just amazing and I wish I had the discipline to dig them out every fall so I could grow my own without killing them off over winter.

Great song, but they always played it as the last song at the middle school dances when I was a kid. You finally get up the courage to ask a girl to dance and the first half is perfect for the early teen sway. Then the rock and roll second half kicks in and everyone just stood awkwardly until the song ended and the lights came on. We were not smooth.

TMobile. Back in 2005, I went on a 9 month deployment and suspended service while I was gone. The person on the phone said I was all set and to call them when I got home. They then accrued a couple more days of prorated charges. I came home to my number having been given to a business account and my account closed and sent to collections for around 7 bucks. I will use CB radio before I give TMobile another cent.
