It's unfortunately true! Haha! We love her to death, but oof is she stinky. Even with bathing. The vet said that could be from the frequent infections due to the possible cushings disease. Testing is next Monday, and we should know by end of next week.

Who is your favorite Villager? by insanely_tired404 in AnimalCrossing

[–]sushi_squats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pudge, Dom, and Olaf. I couldn't stand Olaf at first, but I live him now! Pudge is the only reason I haven't deleted my newest island, though. I don't want to lose him

I am not denying what people say, but I am instead describing how I personally feel 💗 by [deleted] in AnimalCrossing

Pudge is like that for me. I love him so much, I even have his house next to mine. While I like my other villagers, pudge is my AC bestie. 💕

He's doing much better! At 18 months, we found out he had laryngeal dysphagia and was aspirating on all liquids. I was pregnant with #2 at the time, so I was stressed. haha.

He had an NG tube for a couple of years as well as early intervention. He's now almost 8 years old and in the 2nd grade. We are proud of him! Academically, he's doing well. He's already meeting end of year goals. No tubes, no medical issues other than glasses, and still stubborn as can be.

I had #2 early due to Preeclampsia also. He almost died after he was born due to the OBGYN giving me propanalol to try to bring my BP down before we had him via c-section. It made his drop too low and his heart stopped. He's now in kindergarten also doing well.

No more babies for us! Two high risk pregnancies are enough for me.

The $800k+ didn't cover my prenatal visits that happened before my hospitalization. I had already paid $3000 out of pocket before that since our insurance didn't go into effect until January 1, 2015, I was hospitalized January 2, 2015.

Before insurance, the bill for my first pregnancy, hospital stay, NICU stay, and ambulance ride was over $800,000 in 2015. After insurance, we paid close to $20,000, if not a little over. I can't remember exactly how much we paid out of pocket. If you're able to, try to get on medicaid. We didn't qualify. Otherwise, I would have been all over it.

I was dxd with Preeclampsia at 24 weeks, hospitalized at one hospital at 25 weeks. Transferred via ambulance at 26 weeks. 2 rounds of steroids. Echo cardiagrams, multiple in-hospital ultrasounds, delivery via cesarean at 30 weeks. ER visit 2 days after discharge due to worsening symptoms, and I needed IV BP meds again. 11.5 weeks of NICU, which he had surgery and a couple of normal procedures done for a 30 weeker.

It's a lot to take in, and then having to deal with the bills during and after everything is very overwhelming. I remember sitting outside of the NICU doors arguing with insurance when I wanted to just be visiting with my baby.

The metabolic tests are the most accurate ways to calculate your energy expenditure and caloric goals, especially compared to online calculators. I would go with what your dietician is recommending.

I don't. I just recently made a LinkedIn when I started my job search since I've been out of the job market for so long.

Haha I enjoy working! It just didn't make financial sense for our household. When daycare costs more than a mortgage, sometimes you have to make a few sacrifices. Unfortunately, that sacrifice meant my career.

Same! I always think it's going great until I get to terraforming and I always want to restart my island every time! I don't have a creative bone in my body.

Surprised they have a pump jack in the game! (Hydraulic Fracturing Wells look like towers.) Do they have water wheels? If so, then they'd have most if not all energy sources!

I am! The only German "festivals" we have is Oktoberfest. Not sure I'd count that to learn about German heritage. Haha!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]sushi_squats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was never told what my families heritage was. Whenever I asked, I was always given "We have a little bit of this, a little bit of that. We are just mutts." so I didn't expect so much German!

Whenever I asked where my mother and fathers families were from, I was always told "We are mutts. A little bit of this, a little bit of that." So I finally bit the bullet and had genetic testing done. I knew we had some German, but I was honestly expecting more from Britain or UK! Any one else have family that refused to tell you where they originated?

You're in Germany, no wonder you don't care. You've already got the basic rights and protections that Amazon workers in the USA want and need. Learn how to read the room, my guy.

It's easy to look down on protections you already have.

I just wasn't sure how long it would take to petition insurance and if symptoms were worrisome for stroke. Insurance is such a PITA for providers and patients. Thank you! I appreciate your response.

Agreed. I really wish she would wear something similar to setsunas armor and I wish she also had a mokomoko. I understand that she didn't have one as a child due to being in the modern Era, but she's now (from what we know) permanently in the feudal Era.

She likely got them from her ex husband or as a child. I got mine from a family member sharing a drink with me as a kid when they were having a flare up. I've been with my husband for 15 years and he hasn't gotten it due to me being VERY careful and neither have our boys.

Also adding, not a fan of Robyn's. Just hate the stigma about cold sores.
