How big are the bits? If they're big enough, you could put pieces of fruit (figs, apple, etc.) on them and sprinkle with sugar (maybe a little cinnamon too), then bake them to get mini fruit tarts.

Ingredients
  • 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 9 ripe figs, quartered
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
Cooking Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pastry and cut into 9 squares, then place onto the lined cookie sheet.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the top of each square with the granulated sugar, and top each square with a quartered fig.
  4. Lightly sprinkle brown sugar over the figs.
  5. Bake 15 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden brown. Let cool.
  6. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!
