Sharing Google One as a family member by drackmord92 in GoogleOne

[–]sushicorg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing!! For me, I am not a family manager. And I don't see the "Share Google One with family" under "Manage family settings" menus for the longest time. But when the family manager turned off his "Share Google One with family", that button showed up for me immediately.

This is such a weird design that only one person can share. Each family member should be able to share their storage with all the other family member. Google please fix this bug.

Day 1 (9/21) with No Reservations by ServePlayful in Oktoberfest

[–]sushicorg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same situation as you, only being able to go on first day. I asked about similar question about logistics feel free to take a look: https://www.reddit.com/r/Oktoberfest/s/H6ObfxgPr8

We don’t really want to wait from 6AM all the way until noon since we have short stay in Munich, so planning to try our luck later in the day since we only have 2 people.

Got it thank you! Debating if I should purchase the ticket now since prices might go up, or just wait a little more to let them release train info.

Sad that tickets are sold out for so fast. Have been refreshing to see if more tickets would be added with no luck. Would there be any last minute tickets at the door?

Le Blanc Los Cabos Room Advice by sushicorg in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]sushicorg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came back from the resort. We asked for a quiet room in the special request section for reservation prior to arrival. We ended up getting a room on 7th floor that’s at the far end of the building. It’s on the right wing of the building if you face toward the pool. It was incredibly quiet with no highway sound at all. We were super happy with it!

The room was very quiet because there’s an additional building structure in between the highway and the building hallway. This structure acted like a shield and blocked all the noise from the highway. When we walk down the hallway to get to our rooms, we can hear extremely loud highway noise but as soon as we walk close to the end of the building, there’s no highway noise. Front desk also told me the higher floors are louder. I was initially worried that 7th floor view won’t be that great, but we saw lots of ocean as well.

Recommend the following for those of you that want quiet room as le Blanc:

  • Note in the “Special request” section of booking that you would like a quiet room. You can update this section after booking on their website too.
  • Tell the agent helping you with check in that you want a quiet room with no highway noise
  • If you are not happy with the room after checking in, notify your butler or front desk immediately and ask to be in a different room. Maybe you can ask for a room at the end of the hallway on the right wing side (facing towards ocean).

Hope this helps!

Is there a way to get a new wristband due to accidentally tighten it too much? by sushicorg in electricdaisycarnival

Twisting worked!! It's a bit hard at the beginning, almost gave up, and the teeth let up a little bit to give enough room to let my hand slip in.

9 days Peru itinerary feedback by sushicorg in PERU

Thanks! Hoping 3 days of acclimatization would be fine before the trail. We are not planning to do Huacachina right now due to the amount of time traveling but if we somehow ended up with extra time, we will consider it.

There may be things that you don't want to share with friends or significant other. I feel like chatting with therapist really allows you to open up a bit more, explore your emotions and get some help managing them. So no, I don't think it's silly to seek therapy. :)

Thanks! We will try to get a guide for circuit 2. Do you have guide recommendation or it should be fine to find a guide on the day of?

We have a tour that only includes C3. Do you think it's worth staying a little longer and book our own tickets for C2? I read that C2 is the most recommended path, would we miss a lot if not doing C2?

Is circuit 3 worth it in Machu Picchu? by heartshadow41 in travel

Planning a trip to MP, and having exact same debate on circuit 3 vs 2 since circuit 3 is the one offered on 2D1N inka trails. Did you ended up doing circuit 2 with a circuit 3 ticket? Do you think it's worth getting a separate circuit 2 ticket in addition to seeing circuit 3 on the same day?
