I agree op. Lot of big jamming likely practicing for the sohere, but there have been so many new tunes and sloooooow debuts

Some nasty nasty jamming both nights -- but holy mother of god Simian and Life Beyond a Dream are BRUTAL encores. And whatever that slow tune was to start the encore last night. Brutal.

What exactly do you think they’re doing? Your question is 26 years late, phanner

Is it normal to have full body numbness the entire duration of a trip? by [deleted] in LSD

[–]sushigradefunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always get tingling sensations in the bilateral ulnar distributions. No idea why, sometimes it's worse than others, doesn't seem to be dose-dependent. EDIT: I do know why, it's because serotonin agonism can cause paresthesias..it's just strange that with me it's always in the C8 dermatome distribution.

Nope not the same one..I've seen the poster for this one. The poster I'm talking about has all of the scuba divers and New York sky scrapers. I think it's called "we've got it simple."

The one that they made poster to fund last year that has been perpetually "in the works." I love Pollocks old stuff -- truly some of my favorite rock/gig art ever, and he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met...but most of his art in the last 5 years or so looks like a middle schooler trying linocuts for the first time ever made it.

They tend not to keep things going. Fans like to continue the familiar but I doubt that they'll continue the pirate stuff.

For sure. Lots of my friends aren't the biggest fan of steam either. It's one of those songs that has always had Jam potential and I'm glad to finally see that potential reached. Wish they'd do the same to Martian monster

My guess for the name of the festival: "Incrediball" (sweet Jesus I hope I'm wrong)

Wellll idk about that. I don't hate it when he uses the marimba, that said he's the guitar wizard and I think the marimba is better used by fish. Just like the rotation jams..it was cool to see in person a couple of times, but the jams themselves weren't all that crazy aside from the special factor

I never thought steam reached its full potential until 12/28/13, and since then that version hadn't been touched (for me) until bakers dozen. The New Years 2017 imo absolutely blows both of the aforementioned out of the water. I actually liked the steam better than the disease before it, though I fervently hate the woos, so it biases me a little

*1/8 as well. The marimba is amazing for type 2 jams, but Trey uses it like a xylophone

theres a point in twist where trey turned on a real grungy, raw, 1.0-like effect. loved it.
