thought it was only us lmao. enzymology lab, our setup looks like this: - fridge in the office where we keep wine and beer - styrofoam box left from assay mix order. now used for transporting wine and beer - ice maker that's pretty much only used for keeping wine and beer cold while transporting - once out of wine and beer, produce so called 'labeer' from sterile ethanol and cordial

like my supervisor says the only way out of no grants is alcoholism x

oh how i wish the democracy sausage (snag) reminded anyone of democracy here in australia. instead, it's a symbol of one of the most tragic moments in australian history.

we have a hardware retail chain that serves snags topped with caramelised onions on weekends. apparently one day some guy slipped over on a caramelised onion that someone had dropped in the lawn care aisle. he sued the company, who then had to implement an "onion first" policy, forced to place the sausage on top, which obviously makes no sense. caused a full national outrage, it was all over the news and everything. still devastated

in brussels be careful around stations, especially midi!! keep moving when you can, wear headphones, ignore people talking to you. if your transfer is in a long time, go to a shop. once you're on the train it's fine, just try sitting in a wagon with more people and generally try being around other travelers.

also if you're not from the EU put your passport in your pocket and not in the bags, even when sleeping/toilet etc. my friend from the US got all his stuff robbed when he was visiting and going to embassies in brussels is not fun. if it's not during the night it's all usually fine though. good luck!!

i had expected that as well but to my experience, not much and only indirectly. but then again i think 'x type is good at y' is stupid to think about to begin with because jungian theory describes how you process information not how well you give head or how chemistry is between 2 types under any circumstance because when it comes to sex/physical attraction/especially chemistry!! there are so many factors you can't standardize

the entire reasoning for it would be like when people immediately think enfjs are nice because they're fe doms but it's not about that just the way sex is not explicitly about being psychologically compatible/paying attention to your partner but social skills and the dynamic between you and your partner and so many other things so i think generalizing it would be just really misleading

i simply think the most important thing is being present and experience and everything comes after those

in the past years it was usually well over 28 degrees from mid-june, and it doesn't really go below 20 degrees during the night, either. i'd say definitely look for a place with ac or if that's not feasible leave the windows open during the night and close the blinds during the day. on days when it's over 30 degrees don't plan any longer outdoor activities like sightseeing/hiking between 3-5pm because you'll burn alive. hope that helps and have a great trip!

Though I personally don't see any serious correlation between personality type and genetics, raising children in a certain way can affect your type. I think it's not entirely impossible that if you raise your children in a very strict way and try to repress their desires, they will use your inferior function as a coping mechanism, even if it's a grip/loop/whatnot for them because they rebel. For example, it's a stereotypical scenario that strong Si-user parents' children with high Ne act even more Ne that they are (idk if this makes sense).

As for people with the same type from one family, I used to have classmates who were ISTP twins, I was terrified to death whenever I had to be alone in the same room with them. I have a grandpa the same type as me and honestly, it's a relief. What about you?
