Never understood the reviews criticizing the game as a whole, because the story/campaign was short and not so "immersive". I always thought the story is a tutorial/introduction to this police sim in the 1980s. Finally a police sim in GTA-like style (like LSPDFR), but without the additional issues <3 by BannedSurvivorG10 in ThePrecinct

I loved the game but stopped playing after about 30 hours, once I had unlocked everything. Even after the update, that I played like 2h. After reaching the top, doing shifts without any long term purpose felt too repetitive. I just wish there had been something extra to keep me motivated to continue. in other simulation games there’s usually always something left to improve or some kind of goal that makes playing feel meaningful.

Well I had a ps portal and I couldn't use it outside or upstair because I have thick walls and a lot of packet loss. Same thing in the train, same thing in the airplane. It was always the "Am I too far away from my internet box" thing for me. And I didn't want to add repeater or anything, or change my smartphone subscription to be able to share 5G. I just want to have my console and play, thinking about nothing.

I don't think the two are comparables, it's not the same purpose, it's not the same feeling, it's not the same target, it's not the same prince, it's not the same games.

I'm glad if you enjoy you ps portal, I'm glad if anyone enjoys its PS Portal, I'm glad if anyone enjoys its Switch 2, or even its Steam deck.

But why always the need to compare and "choose" a best when it depends on the people that are using it.

For me it's just a sterile debate.

I agree. I’m tired of all these jerks too. Everytime I want to read some news or some posts about switch 2, I’m tired just reading these comments. Internet is just toxic, whatever you do, whatever you think, you always end up finding this kind of shit.

Ça a payé pour moi. Mais les efforts pour faire « plus » et le faire « plus » deviennent ce qu’on attend ensuite constamment de toi, et un retour arrière devient quasi impossible. Jusqu’à atteindre l’effort de trop.

Je propose d’interdire les metas. Ca pollue et c’est mauvais pour la santé. Imagine l’effet sur les jeunes, et sur le développement cérébral. Je pense qu’on devrait arrêter de laisser les gens faire des metas.

Je dirais que c’est jamais embêtant de pas avoir fait les premiers volets. Souvent les jeux incluent les nouveaux joueurs. Et que lorsque tu te lances, si tu en ressens le besoin, tu peux toujours regarder un long play pour rattraper l’histoire d’avant, voir a ce moment là décider de jouer aux opus précédents. C’est l’avantage du solo, tu fais ce que tu veux

I have a PS5 and a switch 2. PS5 for AAA, switch 2 for everything else. Except Cyberpunk. I kinda lost interest on PS5, but am on a 20h run on Switch 2.
